Hi David! Thank you so much for this great tutorial. I enjoy using PPT and thanks to you I was able to figure out how to sync the pre-recorded audio with the presentation. You have to do it for each slide! AHA! then trim the audio to play only the part you need for that slide. That was the missing piece for me. Thanks again. 😀
Great tip, audacity seems helpful. This method wont allow us to record the mouse pointer movements though, as that might be needed in some cases, to highlight the text being discussed. The workaround for that might be that we have to play the audio in the background and move the mouse, while recording live using PPT.

Thank you for this. Certainly makes it easy. However, I had the whole audio recorded and I'm not sure how to "trim" it for each slide. I was hoping to play the audio and then manually advance each slide to correspond for correct timing. I'll try checking out the "trim" part.

How about a continuous audio rather than putting it into one slide at a time? I had a failed live zoom recording which I can't use but I have the audio file and the presentation. Any advice welcomed
You have to select "play across slides" and "Start from the beginning" (instead of start on each slide). I wish Microsoft would take the time to make their tools more intuitive and stop constantly changing them, but instead make something good, easy to use, and keep it that way.

This is not helpful. My audio continuous. It is not done slide by slide. I want to change the bullets on the slide as the narration proceeds.
