- The Milwaukee Road sampled products from almost all of the builders, was an early purchaser of the F-unit and rostered a large stable of them for freight and passenger service, found a favorite diesel in the form of the SD-40-2 and had the unique SDL-39 built for branchline service. The 181 images come from slides, photos, B&W negatives and postcards.
