Hi Tracy video was great I wanted to know I have a 550 CLS by turbo and I turned the key my battery is good but I don't hear the starter turn over and I don't have the book for my fuse panel could it be a fuse or relay to stop the engine from turning over or could it be security please help ASAP thank you
Ya I needed break pads I had a light come on saying check the pads. I replaced them and it still comes on I tryed doing what u did but it didn’t clear it I have 2013 cls550
Jesus. Theres also some annoying light on the hub. I got rid of mines 2 years ago now. I love that big body and shape. I can tell that annoying light bothers you. Looks like you'll have to take it in for the professionals to clear it. While its there, may as well get the mercedes premier inspection. They are gonna make up a crazy price, but the piece of mind after feels good. Or ignore the light till you sell it
You have to replace sensors as well. Once they wear down they pretty much ground out or open(can't remember right now) but that triggers your light. Replace them with pads and reset light and you should be gtg. Even cheap scanners should be able to reset brake light as long as you can see components not just engine codes.
I did too in the beginning. Gotta keep trying. Start over from the beginning every time you try. Starting with the car off. Promise it'll work took me two days to figure it out. Then i had an ahhh haaa moment.

This didn’t work for me. The Service 9a warning doesn’t pop up unless I’m in ACC and the buttons don’t do anything in that mode.
