Received my NT1 Signature Series a couple of days ago. Very low signal, but sporadically, for some reason, works when plugin power is on in addition to phantom power. Probably wasn't the actual reason it worked but turning plugin power off --> very low sound again. Strange. At the time room humidity is around 71% so I figured that might be the reason and after seeing this vid, I dried it for about 10 seconds from each side with a hairdryer and Boom! It works!
OMG I can't believe it worked for me too. I had 0 signal with my NT1A, then I just exposed it at the sun light for about an hour, after that it instantly worked perfectly. I was very close to buy a new mic, thank you so much for sharing this trick !

Unbelievable but it actually worked. What I did is I turned on the air conditioner of my room for half an hour which took all the humidity out of my room and now it is working perfectly....
I wanted to come here and say that IT REALLY DOES WORK!!!! I was very skeptical, didn't want to ruin my mic, but apparently, a few seconds with the hairdryer fixes it :D Weird times we be living! :DDD
It worked but in my case when you restart the computer the next day, it’s doing no signal again, so you have to it every single time you use your computer with the mic plugged into the audio interface, which sucks honestly! It’s better to change the capsule or the microphone tbh
No worry if you don't have a hand dryer just tune on your cooking gas put the mic in a pot and cook it. The arm is to make it heat up. Thank me later. This is not a joke in anyways 😂
Please tell me if it still works that way, because it works for me right now, but I don't know if it will for a long time... Maybe I should take it to a mechanic.

It's not a permanent fix. You should send it back to Rode and they will replace the whole capsule. Then it like having a brand new microphone.
