    Excellent video! I have been interested in how to plumb in a quick connect for a grill to run off my motorhome LP tank and this answered all my question. Thank you!

    Outstanding Video demonstration of the various connections for a Gas Grill and Fire Pitt! I went camping just this past weekend and wondered how to create this exact setup! I'll take a look at my Propane configuration... assuming that my Weber Q Grill needs "Low Pressure" so place the "T" after the Regulator! I'll report back if I get this setup to work!! ~Big C in the DP 📢 ::: Air Horn 📢 ::: ::: Air Brakes! ::: 🚌🚌🚌

      @@twHomeShow Just purchased the parts using your links! I did locate the Quick Connect Hose and Fitting for my Weber Q instead of the Blackstone. I look forward to doing this modification for myself and "ALL of my RVing Friends!!!"

    Thank you for these very clear instructions. I was curious if you have checked for any leaks since installing this in 2022. Has it been holding up well? I also have the Tiffin Open Road and plan to follow your instructions to set mine up. Thank you again for taking all this time to make this video!

    Great video and very informative. Just a note to save your hands in the future, you used all of your hand tools backwards (tongue and groove pliers and adjustable wrench)..

    Thank you Todd, great video and it is exactly what we have been looking for. Do you have the list of quick connection parts that we need to buy.?

    You failed to read the directions for the tester you were using. The beep that you were hearing was the tester telling you it had completed the setup procedure and was ready for use and not timing out as you stated. I had punched the same tester prior to watching your video and was pleased with the operation.

    Can i install the quick connect fitting where the hose comes out of the regulator instead of the end where the hose connects to the hard pipe on my coach as it is too far under it

    • @twHomeShow
      @twHomeShow  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, anywhere after the regulator, as long as you can find the correct fittings.

    If things you’ll plug into this have regulators on them, wouldn’t it make sense to tap in before the coach’s regulator and have high pressure at this quick disconnect?

    • @SLOCLMBR
      @SLOCLMBR 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      But why? If you connect after the regulator, you can eliminate the regulators and bulk from the accessories that you are fitting with quick connections. Should probably leave all regulators in place and play safe

      @@SLOCLMBR double regulated?

    I do like the way you setup the quick connection.
    The two-stage regulator that is mounted on my propane tank is a - "Gas flo propane regulator gr-9959"
    From what I can tell its pressure is 11 inches of water column, which is about .4 psi
    The Blackstone regulator runs at .5 psi
    Am I being too picky about the difference between the two and the Blackstone working as well as it should?

    • @CH-mp8eu
      @CH-mp8eu 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is a good point. Most all RVs are set up for 11 inches of water column after the regulator. If you are using the RVs regulator for your external appliances, better hope they'll all run as efficiently on 11 inches of water column as they would with their own regulators.

    Those are not extensions, they are called nipples.

    Wow, if you’ve never been into that fitting that serviced your coach, the factory fitting was wrong! you removed what looked to be a 1/2” Flair x 3/4 NPT... I would bet it leaked or at best would have started leaking at some piont. The pressure aft of the regulator is very low so it may not have had a noticeable leak. Shocking if factory, they know that’s wrong. Flared fittings seal at the flare and should never have pipe tape or dope added.
    Thanks for the video.
