I have a theory that Merlin told Escanor to hide in a mountain. If he doesn’t see the sun, he won’t transform. And if he doesn’t transform then he can stay in hiding, because I doubt sunshine Escanor would hide from the kingdom because of his pride.
Escanor doesnt need to see the sun to transform, he didnt transform before because he had magical glasses that Merlin gave to him so he could control his power/grace as we can see on his introduction and during the tournament arc.
*SPOILER* Escanor was able to transform at night in the "fight" against Gowther when Gowther inadvertently gave Escanor burning hope and light when Gowther thought showing Merlin not loving or showing love to Escanor would crush him. In the end, just the pure love and passionate radiance Escanor had for Merlin was able to transform him. You could say....his love burns like the light of a thousand suns ;)

Its not a perfect counter but it means ban doesnt have to waste energy to counter it since without infinite life he cant really do the same thing anymore at least not for very long

So much hype in every single chapter and episode, so much development on everyone, life lessons and honestly, Escanor is my favorite character because he (during the day) is what I lack and what I strive to have and during the night he is more like me, and along with Bans development, holy shit he is a god among men along with escanor. The heart was just a symbol. He actually surpressed his own emotions because of the loss of his one great love by erasing his memories about her whenever they would come up and by kinda hypnotising himself into thinking of himself as emotionless.

And you’re not going to talk about Diane’s sacred weapon release and how gideon is over powered but also too destructive to use ?
It still doesn't make her that much more of a character and literally just knock the hammer out of the ground and there ya go, full counter sends any magical attack back at 2.5x the power that still doesn't make meliodas op like he said diane is still the weakest sin despite her ability

The wiki says it's Ludociel, and in Japanese there Rs and Ls are very similar, so it could be either. We'll have to wait for the anime to hear what they do with it.

Nux's trolls are great. I love how he still goes with the idea that Escanor's overwhelming pride is what allowed him to stand against Estarossa, and not the idea that he possessed Mael's Grace, which allow archangel's to be immune to commandment abilities.

You’re best video so far But you should have mentioned ban’s reaction to Meliodas and Elizabeth’s curse I know it’s hard work to make these but it shows bans greed in thinking he is the only one with dead women problems and his change throughout the story by saying “is been long time since I wanted to die”
