I read all the Anne series except this last one (the library didn't have it) years ago. This summer I have spent many hours driving and was able to listen to all of them. I have laughed and cried, been broken hearted and uplifted. This is a wonderful, wonderful series!
What a splendid series this has been!!! I’ve cried this whole book knowing it’s the last book of the series. Every chapter I believe I’ve laughed or cried. I’m so sad to see it’s over. I loved every book of the Anne of Green Gables series 😭
The blythes are quoted is next, before green gables is a prequel as is Marilla of green gables. And don’t forget chronicles if avonlea and further chronicles of avonlea! And if you want even more Anne, check out the Manga classics edition of the first book!
Such a beautiful poignant and romantic story. Also, I love the way Lucy Maud Montgomery painted pictures with words. Absolutely Brilliant. Furthermore, I love the way Karen Savage reads them. I wish I would have read them much sooner.

I have enjoyed all her books so much! My favorite is still Rainbow Valley. This last book made me so sad, so much tragedy and sorrow. I don't think the ending satisfied me, but I guess I can imagine the aftermath. I am thankful for Karen Savage who made all the difference with her talented voice. This is definitely a wonderful collection, so full of love, wisdom and history.
i feel like i loss someone when i read the part where Walter died. I love this book so much. it touches my heart when i read the beginning to the end. very touching 💖
To be fair, this was already foreshadowed in Anne of Ingleside, which comes before Rilla of Ingleside chronologically. Also, never read the comments on any video until you're done, if you don't want spoilers.

Maud is a wonderful writer. In fact great observer of the life as created by our God. Rolla and Rainbow Velly are the two novels of particular beauty. Anne and Gill are with us even if they are not the main characters. We'll read. Thanks.

Debbie Garrett oh my god i’ve been thinking anne of ingleside and rilla of ingleside are the same. It never occurred to me how they suddenly got so many children and they skipped so much ahead. It never occurred to me how the other characters just disappeared even though they’re very important like Marilla. Its a shame cause i’ve been googling the order repeatedly and still made the mistake. Too late now im in the middle of this already might as well finish it.
