Welcome back . I wanted to show you how I make my sodium hydroxide solution using lye. This is used to raise the ph in your hair and skincare products. If you have never worked with lye please follow safety precautions because lye can be corrosive and can burn your skin. I hope you find it helpful.

Hi and thanks for sharing again, I have a question, why use this mix instead of using others to balance the Ph, is this mix more effective than others ?
I ask because I am afraid of using hydroxide, I understand it turns acidic, but is there a reason to use it instead of others?
