Even tho they're following their passion, eventually they will get burnt out, yet tournaments commonly have rewards around 1k-10k, 1m dollar tournaments are very rare, thats not an exaggeration.
TH-cam channels along with that do not make much, even with 1m views and 100k subs, you'll have 10k-50k average US dollars from that.
Edit: Reminder that youtubers rely on tournaments, events and sponsors for money.
