Very nice video
Thank you
You should also have debarked the posts as well. Because eventually the bark will rot from the inside. Just sayin' But at least you sealed them
Thanks for the tip
How about using a sled? They also make some wagons with yuge wheels. I'm so jealous. Good for you, man. That cabin should last a couple hundred years.

I wouldn’t worry about post rotting underground the usually rot at the ground surface,I’ve replaced a number of fence post over the years and it always at ground level so if you tar at that level should be good for years. Great work by the way.
Thanks for the information
your supports would last very much longer if you stripped the bark before you tarred them!
OK thanks for the tip
@@cabinlife4551 anytime and nice job!!! cant wait to see it finished!
👍👍
Oh “hail” no….. 😉🤨🥴⚡️. Looking great and I enjoy following your progress !!
Good job dude. Maybe you should paint the first log to protect it from the water. I watched à vidéo of à Guy fixing à cabin and changing the first logs Coz they were rotten
Are you merely designing as you go, or do you have some actual plans you're going by? I ask because I am wondering how you plan to make a floor inside? And have you thought that a heavy rain fall could swamp your cabin instantly? Doesn't look very high up according to the water running by... Just wondering...
I'm making it up as I go, I plan on cutting the door in soon and getting in Two Put the floor in That way, I hope the river never floods I've been here 6 years and I've never seen the water up over the bank Yet
I’m pretty sure you should’ve de barked the stumps before applying that preserve tar coat... I’m not 100% certain but applying it on the bark does not look rite to me...great effort man
