Feeding these animals is a horrible idea. These creatures are critical for a natural functioning ecosystem...feeding them disrupts their natural foraging/hunting instincts...
They hunt just fine, they still go after bugs and such even if there is a bowl of kibble right in front of them. I am not worried about dependence from them.
