Excellent interview, so thankyou. If one were to look at this with the point of view that it's a transfer of land to big money and the subsequent control of food production, then tit all begins to make sense.

I can’t say that I am very hopeful of the EU Commission coming to its senses. Nor the UK government either. None of these central policy makers understand the issues and can, or will, stand up against the big climate lobbyists who either have huge vested interests, or are even more ignorant of reality.

Great interview, which explains exactly why the Dutch and Flemish farmwers were so angry about the EU decisions! 💚

The institution that produces the most manure is the EU Commission

Politicians neither know of, nor care about agriculture. It is all about the global corporations. Small scale farmers are vital for the production of food to feed an evet increasing population!

Can you do a research program on the vast amount of
Fertile land taken out production as last 40 yrs.Its obscene to see 10-15 % of a country's land barren, growing weeds and costing tax payers fortunes .It makes no sense !!

It's the American model which is being imposed on Europe. Seventy percent of all farming in the US is giant agrobusiness (killers of the soil). Small growers have been subjected to the same treatment, not through environmental operations but through brutal economic policies, starting with Nixon's Ag. Czar Earl Butz and his green revolution. The objective is to grow profits, leading to a consolidation in the ag. business with many small growers out.

Brussels has screwed small family farmers for the last 40 yrs.Its cost the individual tax payer a massive amount of money.. Squandered on hairbrain ideas, and policies which favour the big operations.Intervention policy as it was known 40 yrs ago for beef ,cheese, milk products, wheat, barley etc.
I know people who made millions from Brussels supplying storage for the beef mountain as it was called.
In a short time the E.U will be bankrupt.
Its a cancer to day to day farming as we saw in the Netherlands this last few yrs.

Government neglect has, good as, destroyed bee keeping in western Australia .
the varroa mite has hit the shores over east overcoming the feeble efforts we were forced to pay for through licences.
It appears eucalyptus honey from argentine has been imported that imitates our local honey so most of our premium variety local bulk honey is not wanted.

It's being done on purpose. We need to wake up and realise that the establishment is working hard to destroy our culture and way of life.

Farmers may be a minority and vocal but is it pandering to be concerned about our food security?

Who exactly? The farmers or the environmental extremists?
