Europe is irrelevant to the rest of the world. The US had some significance for Europe, so the rest of the world sort of indulged Europe. But given that Europe is a burden the US wants to get rid of, they will gain their rightful place in the world, dustbin. As for NATO, it will cease to be meaningful. When Russia attacks the UK soon and NATO fails to come to the aid of the UK, NATO will be exposed for what it is: an instrument for serving the US interests, not a security umbrella for the deluded satellites. After that realisation, the Europeans can rethink if publicly whipping up russophobia is such a good idea.

The USA has a chance to get real about energy again with the Trump election. Onshoring becomes feasible with abundant, low cost, reliable energy but as was mentioned by one speaker, the 100 kg Giant Panda in the room is the supply of critical raw materials.
