I know it might sound stupid. But this year my goal is to be happy. I'm coming out of a pretty heavy depression low. And my goal in 2020 was to take care of myself, put myself first and create/find out my limits and boundaries in order to be better able to communicate them in my relationships. And I think I was pretty successful in achieving that. So, this year, my goal is to do things and move in directions that actually make me happy and spark happiness inside me. I know what that feels like, so I'm going to pursue that this year. I'm going to read lots of stuff that make me happy, and move my research in a direction that makes me happy, and try to have fun, in general, also in non-work/intellectual-related-areas. 😁
Also: my goal in 2018 was just be a slut. And (for my standards) I was pretty successful as well: I gathered the courage to flirt with women (I'm bi ❤️), I went on a few dates, I LOST MY """VIRGINITY""" (aka had penetration sex, which my catholic background delayed me from having for quite a while) and I got a relationship and started to explore polyamory. So, although I always set up very abstract goals, I always seem to find was to concretely put them into action. 😁

I signed up as a patron for several creators for the first time over lockdown, not because i suddenly could afford it better, but because I and so many other people felt it so important to support people with these precarious, unpredictable income sources who might have a harder time getting government relief. I think we saw that desire come to fruition in a lot of ways--ordering from restaurants, buying art from small artists, participating in more charity and justice fundraising--and Patreon was one of the areas that really benefitted from that collective spirit!
Carving out time to be creative is one of my priorities for this year too! Writing because I want to, not necessarily because it's productive or contributing to something else. Absolutely loved the distinction you made between being creative and not necessarily being artistic too, it's the first time I've heard it put that way and it's so incredibly relatable!
What's nice about reels is that a lot of your TH-cam videos can provide blueprints for them. Especially organization talk, sex tips, book recommendations, etc

I desperately need a new job. What a time to be saying this, right? I'm lucky to have one now and I need to finish my bachelors first (should be done by June) but then I'll definitely look for another job because my current one is really not doing good stuff for my mental health and it has been like this for a while. My timing sucks. :)
My goal this year is to become a professional voice artist, which is odd as I work as a cleaner in a school and I'm basically saying I don't want to work outside, I want to work at home, when people are getting complaining of being stuck at home, I want to stay at home. I just find that ironic and slightly funny.
I’m still doing resolutions this year as I have habits I want (and need!) to get into. Despite this I still have a reading goal which I have never set myself before and I’m sure there will be little things I pick up on the way. Best of luck to you Hannah and to anyone reading this with their goals/resolutions this year. Have a good day! ☺️ x
Hannah, you are so smart and you can do whatever you want! it seems that you are itching to do things differently and grow and experiment, but you are too scared of letting go of what you know. don't let it hold you back! experiment! look at videos by other creators and pinpoint something you want to incorporate or a style you want to try! you are more than capable of doing anything you want!!!
For sex ed related reels on tiktok, the concept is that people reply and then you can do video responses so people who want extra info will typically watch those. Basically use the curiosity of your viewers as the starting point.
As a first-year grad student, I don't know that I have any goals outside of things that will already be expected of me this year, like choosing my thesis topic and starting to research and write it over the summer. Besides that, I am finding it difficult to look too far ahead. But more importantly, I don't want to feel like I've given myself goals that are completely unattainable just because I had no idea the year/my thesis/etc. would take so much bandwidth. Like you, I think, Hannah, I'm trying to be more fluid and just listen to what my needs are and do my best!
My new year goals are 1. Attending a pottery class 2. Finish my first miniature thing 3. Talk to my doctor about my medicine that I have been taking for a lot of years now. 4. Go on a hike!
I’m going to try some free creative time this month, I think that could be really great for my mental health. 👍 my January goals are to spend an hour learning Spanish a week and an hour doing Spanish immersion like watching a tv show in Spanish. I’m going to dance/workout/yoga about 6x per week. I’m going to declutter my space and mind and dedicate time to cleaning and a daily chore. I will evaluate at the end to see if the goals will be the same for February.
Using tiktok to film my tiktoks is sometimes kind of a process but it’s actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it. It can be kind of finicky if you’re using a timer or something but other than that it’s the easiest thing for me and it makes it feel like a really casual process of “I have an idea and I wanna film it bc I think it’ll be funny”. If it helps, also, I watch barely any reels and about a million and a half tiktoks every day so maybe picking one and focusing on it would be helpful for you. A lot of people also just make tiktoks and then post the tiktok as a reel which might be easier
(11:00 minute mark) Hannah your entitled to your own feelings (of course), but for me when I think "high quality" and "sex education" I think Hannah Witton. I do agree if you made less how would you make it any better but (as a positive comment) don't doubt your ability as your great and many of us look to you to know what "Good" looks like 😘
I completely identify with not feeling like a creative person and recently I've found just colouring in makes me feel like I'm creative, that side of me does exist and that I am capable of having "creative" hobbies.
My goal this year is to continue learning Scottish Gaelic and try to grow my BookTube channel. But I also don't want to put to much pressure on myself and to just be happy with what I'm doing 😊
my goals are to pay half of my student loans off ( just graduated in April!), start piano lessons ( my mother and grandmother both played ) and travel again if covid allows ! appreciate your videos!
I don't know if that's a thing in London but in Vienna, hotels are renting out rooms to use as an office for low prices (due to covid). You get a big enough table and there is a microwave in the room so you can warm up your own food. :)
All the best to you, all the best in 2021. Sending you plenty of energy, the universe are shifting towards you. I think the big lesson taken away from 2020 is ACCEPTANCE. So for 2021 I strive for inner immersion, development, growth and deeper self-love. I also started my youtube channel. So let's connect ❤️
I just finished the 5am club, wow what a book, this has really helped me setup my morning routine and finally have some time for my 2021 goals! Thanks Hannah for all your work, best wishes, Mike
oh my god, I knew you had made this video and I couldn't find it *me not knowing you had 2 channels* I think i even commented it under one of your posts and someone told me I was mad! So glad i found it!
My main goal: to finish my Masters degree to the best of my abilities. If we're ever allowed back in schools with sexpression I might actually finally be able to put the training into practice I need to be more active, and I've decided I'd specifically like to work 1) on my core and 2) on getting stronger. We'll see how that goes lol.
I miss sexpression so much more than I expected! And I know you're not asking for advice but I'm doing the yoga with Adriene 30 day challenge and I swear in 1 week I have gone from no being able to hold a plank at all to basically keeping up with her (plus I find yoga so much nicer/kinder than other online work out videos)
I have tried to split my goals in two so that I have something I can definitely do, which I can focus on aside from the bits that would be great to do but just might not be possible. Put aside some savings each month - I have figures that would be ideal (ie a whole spreadsheet) but my measure of success is just whether money has been put into my savings account each month. Apply for jobs/further study - whether I am successful is not in my control but if I apply then I have hit this goal.
also re: creativity. I genuinely believe that creativity and art are just human traits, that are inherent in us, and we don't need to be good at the art for the art to be good for us. it just is! you don't have to identify as a creative or an artist to be allowed to create. you paint, you create, therefore you are an artist! stop letting the boxes define what you can or cannot do!
Creativity and sexuality are both known to be connected to the "sacral chakra", so I think it's super interesting that you found that connection on your own and it makes me think that there's definitely some real truth in there! 🔥
oooh interesting - I love seeing different people/discplines coming to the same conclusions! My partner reads a lot of stoic philosphy from thousands of years ago and I've been doing science of wellbeing course based in modern psychology and they come to the same conclusions!
Love this video. Ive made sure my goals this year are Covid friendly (last year one was to have more dinner parties 🤦♀️). Have really enjoyed this epiphany you've had about creating the environment for sexual desire and creativity. I wonder if youd share it as a blog post too? Looking forward to the rest of 2021 with More Hannah :)
TH-cam refusing to put channels that you subscribe to in your recommendations is why I spend most of my time on Subscriptions page. I only go to recommendations when I run out of content on the channels that I am subscribed to. (I don't use the bell at all because 1. it is ridiculous that it is separate from your subscriptions, and 2. I don't want text messages or computer notifications about TH-cam videos.)
Just wanted to give a positive case study on the taking time off from uploading thing: the German science communicator MaiLab took a break (maternity leave) from Dec 26, 2019 to Apr 2, 2020. Looking at Social Blade, her subscribers were steady and just slightly increasing around 600,000 when she took the break (~40M views per week). When she came back from the break, her subscriber count jumped to 900,000 (now 1.1M ) and ~60M views per week (now 85M). One reason for the jump is that her first video back was a really informative video about the pandemic, but it does show that a three month break didn't mean any algorithm punishment in her case, actually apparently the opposite! Aside from that, I hope you get the balance you want this year 😊
yeah I've heard that the break doesn't necessarily affect your channel's performance but your comeback video does and I don't know if I can handle that pressure!
Personally I feel that metric goals (particularly those which you don't really control such as views/followers etc) can be really dangerous when they become your focus so glad you've moved away from that (but obviously you can make whichever goals you want). I don't use tiktok or reels or anything, but one thing you could do sex education wise is statistics to raise awareness (pregnancy, STIs, LGBTQ+, urinal infections, etc) which can hit hard and then with a link to more information and your longer content so people get the information and have the option to act on it by learning more if they want.
Really loved everything you said about being creative, I'm really going to try to do the same - set the context for creativity instead of magically hoping it will come out of nowhere :)
I’m sticking with the same goal I had last year which is to read a book a month, or an average of a book a month. I do like to read however, my comprehension deficiency means that it takes me longer to get through the books. I end up rereading bits as I go along. I did complete my goal in 2020, barely, but only because I thought I was ahead a book for a few months and then I realized in December that I was actually behind because goodreads had marked me at reading book of dust volume 2 twice and I slacked in the last few months. Ended up reading a book of cartoons about Covid and the US election that our friend did (keep calm and bury on). So I’m sure that I would have been able to get my goal done sooner. I’m just starting a book by a friend that’s been turned into a movie! So excited. Not sure if it’s going to be released outside of the UK or not though.
Hannah: I really really enjoy all the videos that you post. Especially here in More Hannah. Hearing you talk about your thoughts and fears makes me feel identified. It's strange to think about how we as humans can like and care for someone that lives across the ocean and haven't even met in person. If I had more money I would definitely join Patreon and support your work, because i think you genuinely deserve it. But currently i live in Argentina and even just 1€ represents a lot of money to make from here. But someday I'll join. Thanks for all you work, Hannah!
thanks so much and I don't want anyone to ever join my patreon who can't afford it! look after yourself first :) and I'm glad it helps hearing other people voice their thoughts/fears!
Such a fun video. I enjoy this sorta thing! OK, goals. I have two at the moment: 1.) Finish my current IT course and start the next one. 2.) Upload my first gaming video! First one is obvious - I wanna progress in my chosen career. Loved IT since I was a boy and enjoy my job but lack the creds to move up. Gotta work for it! Second is something I've flirted with for a few years now. I love gaming. I love to make people laugh. A couple of gaming videos I've made recently for family members have made 'em laugh soooo I wanna try it on a wider audience! I am dead nervous but excited too. Hopefully it works out 🤞 Looking forward to a better year! Here's to 2021! 🎉
My main goal for this year is to get my bachelor's degree in biology. I was meant to finish last year but then the pandemic happened... also want to make more TH-cam videos about whatever I want and not be afraid to post them. I want make a budget too since 2020 sent me into hella debt. I hope everything falls into place once I finish my degree though and can get a higher paying job in my field.
I'm in the beginning of "Big magic" by Elizabeth Gilbert and I think you probably will like it, or it will be useful - creatively talking. Just the first 20ish pages I think are on the subject of the last 10 minutes of this video 😁 These last 10 minutes are just what I needed to hear, to think about. Thank you.❤
Hey Hannah, as regards to Reels. I totally love the Reels Hank Green makes, super simple but really funny and enjoyable. Maybe that may be some inspiration?
Quite honestly, my goal for this year is to survive and if I'm lucky, find myself again. My husband and I are in such a bad place financially thanks to a lot of bad luck and covid that I've lost myself just trying to earn a paycheck enough to barely put a roof over our heads. The pressure of it all is quite miserable. So if we can survive through this and start pulling ourselves out, I'll be satisfied.
I really want to save a lot of money this year so that I can hopefully buy a flat in a few years time, and to improve my actual drawing and design skills
It honestly sounds a bit odd to me to schedule a time to 'do what comes to mind' but I think you'll adapt it to suit you as you go. Maybe the important thing is to separate performance from creativity
@@morehannah I have the pilgrim journal one and I love it! I worry having something more concrete partially defeats the “creative time” point for me, but as someone who is more right brained it’s a good start. : )
Hey Hannah, have you ever heard of the podcast called Cortex? It sounds like it would be of interest to you. It is the TH-camr CGP Grey and the podcaster Myke Hurley (of Relay FM). A huge part of the podcast is about productivity, which is why I think you'd be interested in it. Both the podcast hosts are self-employed, both live in London, both have tons of productivity habits/routines/apps/systems/etc. Both of them have gone on journeys to find their own office in London. CGP Grey for example has gone from having a co-working space to hiring a large room to having a cubicle-style office. They explore other productivity things such as time tracking, how to store notes, their office set up, separating work from non-work life, work schedules as a self-employed person, etc. And like you they don't do new years resolutions, they have yearly "themes" which they talk about a lot.
About the content creation and the algorithm, as I understand it the algorithm don't "punish" you if the viewers know when to expect a new video even if it's not on a regular interval. On other creator that I follow solved her problem by making three videos a month instead of once a week and told the viewers not to expect a video the first week every month, but all the other weeks. But I guess there are many ways to solve the imbalance between work and rest of life. Hope you find a solution that works for you! My goals this year are not smart goals. I am not really sure about things atm, so my goals are in the same vague manner.
Aside from focusing on my degree, my main goal is to (when I can) learn to drive. My grandfather can’t drive anymore so he very generously gave me and my sister his car. I don’t want to let him down by just having it sit there in our driveway forever! Ido also want to give blood for the first time this year (I tried last year but didn’t enough so my veins weren’t easily accessible).
I am from Spain and I follow @mamacasquet and she uses reels for sex tutorials, like how to put on a condom, three easy ways to do whatever sex act, things that aren't really that complicated or nuanced but open conversations and are actually very useful. Maybe that's something that could compliment your longer, more nuanced classic videos. Love to see what comes out of this resolution!
My goals for 2021 are: Launch my new business. Get a few online courses up. Grow my email list. Make progress on my autobiography. Survive --> seems really corny, but I am already alive almost 11 years longer than expected and I want to continue defying death for a long while yet! I've got too much to do. I've just survived COVID against the odds (I have exceptionally complex medical needs and weak lungs, no one expected me to survive), and have another severe multi-resistant infection to deal with that is only responsive to 1 antibiotic, but I am determined to be here in a year's time writing "Goal for 2022 - survive!" and carry on defying death. :)
There's this wonderful artist, their insta handle is aiicha.art but they also do this wonderful comic called The Sexistentialist, idk if theyre open for the kind of work that sexy scribbles involves kind of work but you should check them out!
Regarding Sexy Scribbles... I have a couple of illustrator pals that would love this ... they are @elouiselevin and @laurahole. Both have commission emails on their social media’s x
I find the distinction between resolutions and goals confusing. To me, a New Year’s resolution is a goal that you set within the time frame of a calendar year.

aw love that!
I don’t think I’ll ever be part of the 5am club!
oh my god, I knew you had made this video and I couldn't find it *me not knowing you had 2 channels* I think i even commented it under one of your posts and someone told me I was mad! So glad i found it!
My main goal: to finish my Masters degree to the best of my abilities.
If we're ever allowed back in schools with sexpression I might actually finally be able to put the training into practice
I need to be more active, and I've decided I'd specifically like to work 1) on my core and 2) on getting stronger.
Creativity vs artistic = MIND BLOWN. Thank you!
Go easy on yourself Hannah! You’re so talented and smart and capable of growth ❤️
Best of luck to you in the new year, Hannah💛🤞
My goal is to start the process of buying a house! 😱
also re: creativity.
One of my goals every year is to read at least 24 books, so 2 per month. A new one for this year is to stick to a more healthy breakfast routine.
Happy New Year Hannah hope it’s a good and you achieve all your goals
Not artsy, but creative - that has finally clicked with me, thank you!
I love your videos so much, they always comfort me and make me feel calm
OhJoySexToy can probably recommend scribble artists from their guest artist list.
OK, goals. I have two at the moment:
1.) Finish my current IT course and start the next one.
Hopefully it works out 🤞
Looking forward to a better year!
Just the first 20ish pages I think are on the subject of the last 10 minutes of this video 😁
These last 10 minutes are just what I needed to hear, to think about. Thank you.❤
Been waiting for this, haha! Time to do mine! After watching this video, of course. 👍
Hey Hannah, as regards to Reels. I totally love the Reels Hank Green makes, super simple but really funny and enjoyable. Maybe that may be some inspiration?
I have zero complaints about you! keep up the great work! Remember it ain't rambling if you say it in a British accent!
loll
yay uploaded as I was planning 🤗
Would you consider having a different illustrator every month for sexy scribbles? It would be great to shine light on multiple illustrators!!
I love the idea of creative time every week!
There are a lot of therapists that make reels and tiktoks, maybe you could look to them for inspiration!:)
I missed you so much. Thank you for existing. :)
Happy New Year! I missed you 😊❤
I love the idea of dedicating time to creativity. I would like to do that too!
I really want to save a lot of money this year so that I can hopefully buy a flat in a few years time, and to improve my actual drawing and design skills
maybe keep an eye out on apartments being rented in your building. though I guess residential rental is more expensive?
Where did you get this dress? It's so cute! 🌻
It honestly sounds a bit odd to me to schedule a time to 'do what comes to mind' but I think you'll adapt it to suit you as you go. Maybe the important thing is to separate performance from creativity
I would recommend checking out a creative thinking journal!
*googles 'creative thinking journal'*
Love this Hannah!
Goals for the 2021; get hired as a teacher, buy a house, and finish graduate degree this summer.
*didn’t drink enough lmao
An illustrator recommendation - @Tourquilson has a really unique art style and makes body-positive illustrations :)
Oooh will check her out!
@@morehannah She makes her content in Spanish, but it is fairly graphic, I do think it doesn't Neee translation
Where's your t-shirt/dress from, I love it?!
dress - ASOS petite from 2014!
I don't think you should worry about continually keeping up with everything young people are using.
"I have so much fun even when what I'm making is shit" is the future @SimoneGiertz wants us to live in
My goals for 2021 are:
Launch my new business.
We believe in you and will be here for you :D
There's this wonderful artist, their insta handle is aiicha.art but they also do this wonderful comic called The Sexistentialist, idk if theyre open for the kind of work that sexy scribbles involves kind of work but you should check them out!
Any recommendation of people who do video essays?
you should really check @zeythehuman on instagram!!
I recently came across @pink_bits on Instagram and like their sex and body positive illustrations 😊
Where are those earrings from? 😍
Regarding Sexy Scribbles... I have a couple of illustrator pals that would love this ... they are @elouiselevin and @laurahole. Both have commission emails on their social media’s x
You could try a Coworking space to find out if not working from home suits you :)
I still want a private space to be able to film/record so coworking wouldn't work for me!
Unrelated but I love this top! 🙂
My goal is to grow a big basil-plant in my kitchen.
Hire @ggggrimes for the sexy scribbles!
Maybe it would be cool if you let your subscribers sent in the (blank) sexy scribbles pages they could make🙃
i love your earrings!
I find the distinction between resolutions and goals confusing. To me, a New Year’s resolution is a goal that you set within the time frame of a calendar year.
I see it as a goal is something tangible you want to achieve, and a resolution as building a habit!
yeah same! ny resolution: eat less meat. goal: learn 10 vegetarian recipes.
Meg Garrod might be good for sexy scribbles! I think she’s MegGarrodArt on insta but I’m not 100% x
some ideas for ur sexy scribbles artists: sofiebirkinillustration (illustrated ruby rare's 'sex ed'); @hildeatalanta ; @ashlukadraws . lots of love xxxx
I know this isn't really about the video above, but I was hoping that you would be able to do the negatives of watching to much porn video. I would love to hear insights into being porn positive but also understanding the things that can go wrong with watching too much porn. Always love the content. 😊😊🎊🎊
