I always send an index card and a large envelope requesting a picture and always get one of their own back. It’s usually a headshot. It would be nice to send one from a favorite movie but would be interested in knowing where you get yours. Thanks!

When I first started it was a 3x5 index card with envelope and return postage. I have a Fred Astaire and a Ginger Rogers, Doris Day, Rock Hudson, Jimmy Stewart, James Cagney. I have bought from dealers. Also there was a guy who lived in Las Vegas we could buy 8x10 black and white for $1.00 each. A couple of my favorites I sent a black and white to Yul Bryner I guess he didn’t like it so I got a colored one of him as the king from King and I. It does take awhile sometimes. I sent one to Olivia DeHavilland in France it took about 3 months she signed the Melanie pic as Melanie and also her autograph with a note apologizing for the delay. Maureen O’Hara sent to St Croix. I have gotten autographs in person with a lot of fun. So my collection has a lot. Enjoy yours, it’s so much fun. 😊
