    I originally chose Boca because of how close it was to delray. As a NYer, delray fits the bill. It reminds me of Hoboken NJ but in the beach with palm trees. Prices have gone up too much lately and in order to get a 5 bedroom l, I would have to go way west to like Boca Falls or those communities out west. Because of that I started looking at Parkland. Parkland doesn’t have much going on but it’s right next to Boca and Coral Springs and both offer plenty of shopping and things to do
    I might still end up in Boca but for now I m focused on Parkland because it’s right next to Boca and about 30 mins from Delray which I do love

    OK but it's nothing like Miami or Hallandale Beach its nothing really to do up there living there was boring, I rather stay in Hallandale Beach or Miami.

    I like Sarasota, and St. Pete nicer cost of living probably the best place to live in Florida to avoid hurricanes

      Sarasota is nice but boring...not much to do and St. Pete also is a little nice just to stay the whole day but also not much to do unless you like to spend $$$ in just drink and eat outside alltime..

    I need a video strictly on Boca nightlife? I heard it’s changed so much 2023 but can it be alittle but like Miami? Young people, dressed to the 9, amazing music, open late downtown? Or is it all retired people out and everything’s quiet by 10pm?

    • @liveinfloridavlog
      @liveinfloridavlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a hard NO! Lol, I lived in Miami for 20 years. It is not all retired people, but there are a good amount of retirees and people from younger married couples and beyond. Boca is not known for it's "nightlife"

    Thank you. Do you mean property tax in Boca is higher? Ot Is there any other tax you are referring to?

    • @liveinfloridavlog
      @liveinfloridavlog  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The millage rate for Boca Raton is 18.307 per $1,000 of value, so you are paying $18.31 for every $1,000 in taxable value. The county rate is generally 17.7544, so Boca's rate is slightly higher. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Hello, thanks for the video. For background - My wife and I are 30yo and I was offered a great job opportunity where I’d be able to live anywhere in palm beach county and the very north end of Miami-Dade county. Where is the best (safest) place to live in SE FL that has affordable housing? We couldn’t afford to buy a house right now over $500k. We want to buy a house not a condo. Please help! Thank you!!

      I can show you homes in the high 300’s and 400’s. I just don’t know if you would like the area. This is a much longer conversation. Please reach out whenever you’re ready to discuss, I’m happy to help! 561-810-3165

    I’m so tossed between Boca or delray? But fear the same, all older retired people wandering Atlantic ave. Or hippy type vibes?
