I bought this watch about a year a a half ago, drawn to its unique combination of striking appearance and toughness. I love all the high polish, but it does lend itself to light scratches (which doesn’t bother me a bit). It is super comfortable and versatile... at home in any situation I have placed it in. Great review and camera work. It flies a little less under the radar now than before 😉.
Shame Breitling went and discontinued this model and replaced it with the inferior, imho, 45mm GMT without the 24 hour bezel! This 43mm version is simply stunning!
Amazing content! My wife gifted me an Avenger II non GMT for my first Father’s Day this year in the same blue dial and it’s my weekend watch as I wear a g shock during the week. I am a soldier and this watch is a perfect reminder of my service and I am so in love with it. After they discontinued this specific variation of the Avenger, Breitling did decide to remove a lot of the writing on the dial and went with a two tone brushed/polished steel bracelet which was the right call. Highly recommend this GMT version or the newer none GMT variation!
Wow what a beautiful gift! Lucky guy ! I didn’t actually notice less text on the newer model so thanks for that. My only dislike is the new line doesn’t have a 24hr scale on the bezel they decided to go with a diver bezel instead.
Hey MrAceK, thanks for the review, it's really good! Just wondering if you'd make a video discussing "true GMT" watches. I am looking at the new Breitling Avenger GMT, but the lack of jumping hour hands kinda makes me hesitant about it. The other contender would be the Bb-GMT, but honestly, the slim case of the Avenger draws me more. Since I've never owned a GMT watch before, would love to hear your opinions regarding the jump hour hands. Thanks again!
Thanks for watching and appreciate the kind words. IMO I have no issues with not having an independent hour hand. It’s easier enough to use the outside bezel to track a time zone. My questions to you: how often are you really going to be changing time zones ?? Considering the circumstances right now no one is traveling. If you can try both pieces on before buying I suggest you so that as well. They wear very differently and that could also sway your decision. After all you can get a citizen nighthawk with a “jumping hour hand” for $200 🤷🏻♂️
@@mracekproductions Hey, thanks for taking the time to reply! You are right in regards to using the bezel to track a 2nd time zone. But the new version doesn't come with the 24 hr bezel anymore, which is quite unfortunate. I better try them on before I make a decision. I've come to realize that decisions are usually made on the wrist :)
I much prefer this version with the Automatic text in cursive. Also have noticed the new version does not have the 24-hour bezel with even numbers around the bezel? Weird design decision. I could’ve done without the polished surfaces and the COSC text is a bit much. But this reference is still much nicer than the new 43mm Avenger GMT.
Supposedly when there’s no independent hour hand in some circles it’s not considered a “real GMT” despite the fact that original Rolex GMT never had then either

Yes totally agree with those points! Like you still love it. Thanks for watching
Stunning watch. I will buy it today!
Beautiful watch that has all the cool hallmark Breitling features.

Yes i have to agree. I had similar thoughts as well, but apparently a dive bezel is more useful !!
I've got this watch, with the black dial.
It's a fantastic watch, lovely to wear and looks great.
yup this is the black and its a great piece !
@@mracekproductions can this watch be $2,500 - $2,700 pre owned 😎👍
@@kingadjust5422 sounds about right
@@mracekproductions thanks!!! 😎👍
Looks way smaller and better in the flesh. I've got one and was positively surprised.
Agreed ! Most people are pleasantly surprised when they actually try it on rather than just bashing it !!
Fantastic review, excellent production values as well. Well done!
many thanks appreciate it

I love that watch! Excellent review Dale!
Watchbrocephus many thanks Stu
Top notch video as always. Thanks D!👍
TimeToGo Travel And Timepieces thanks so much B 🙏🙏
Love the numbers on the bezel. Didn't knew it was 22mm lug width. I always thought this was a smaller sized watch for some reason.
Happy to help!
Getting this watch with a silver face super excited !
Congrats ! It’s a great watch
Another amazing video brother. #goals
SoCal Watch Reviews thanks for the support buddy appreciate it

Thanks Ben ! Agree on pretty much all those points. I’m told there is a brushed bracelet version but against the polished case might look a bit off ?
Great value compared to rolex and others 👏 👍
Couldn't agree more
Great review. I personally prefer the more brushed surfaces on the macho Breitlings.
Ben Hodges thanks Ben. That’s a fair call the all polished can be overpowering, on a sailcloth it sings though
Great review
Samuel thanks a bunch
Have a wonderful evening, I hope you’re doing well
Samuel very kind same to you
Cool piece! Great production! This watch is so thin for what it is! Personally I’ve never been a fan of this style bezel.
J. City Reviews thanks mate appreciate it. Fair enough you either like them or you don’t but that’s cool
MrAceK Productions Absolutely!
And favourite GMT... Hmmm 16750 and 1655. Predictable I know.
The Watch Cat fair enough
Sorry, but what is a “not real GMT” mean?

This watch is way bettter looking than Rolex Explorer 2.
so cool to hear that !
