Danny, don't apologize for yourself. You're doing great. If people think you talk too slow, they can play the video a bit faster. You could sell these assembled or as kits, you know, $50 no problem.I'd buy that ultimate antenna $50 in a heartbeat. It's that copper that'd does it, you know.
Man brother let me tell you you are a very intelligent your information is priceless I watch most of your videos and love every one of them I am starting to build my antenna tonight keep up the good work. P.S. your videos are addicting.
I'll say they're addicting. I'm not sure if it's the "I done done that" or maybe it's all the "ya'll's." He's a lot like Detective Columbo. He comes across as ole man Southern country but he's a sharp minded one underneath it all, ya'll.
The raison I talk thee way I do is baycause I think fast but muh lips git all tangled up. lol, Just messin' with you Danny, my dad and all his folks from the mountains of Tennessee speak the same way. No shame in your game, Danny. Keep up the good work!
"Dan the Man" i know just what you mean "thoughts pop in my head when im fish'n" i do the same thing especially when im in my tree stand LOL keep it up brother!
Hey Danny, You were talking about what to name your antenna's. @12:30 you are showing one with diamond shaped wiskers. What about DSH917. The DSH is the letters of your name. The 917 is the 9th month, Sept. and 17 is the year. That way you know it is yours and when it was designed.
Danny ,you’re making some awsum antennas.Do you think a reflector behind an antenna in an attic would help ? I paired two antennas together in my house in florida and totally lost my signal
Just a thought on audio content - you can over dub audio using several programs such as Windows Moviemaker. Might be a solution to the after thought problem. But I do enjoy yer videos, have no idea why they wanna interrupt them with so (too) many Ole Miss ads...
Love your videos- learning a lot. Do you think omni directional or multi directional antennas are worth making if you have a good combiner. Or are they overrated and don't really work?
I would like to see the Channel Master 4251 built. I know it's a hard antenna to build because of the parabolic design for the reflector it does use two bow tie antennas to pick up the reflected signal. It's a shame CM quit making them but the cost would be high to sell I guess that's why none are made now.
Hi Danny, I hope you can help me out, up here in upstate New York. This summer Verizon built a mobile tower about 1000ft from me and I lost my TV signal ever since is there anything do.
Turbo HD TV Antenna will fit in a shipping carton REAL NICE. Let me caution you though... the public is extremely stupid about antennas. They will screw up self installations in numerous dumbassed ways. Once I had a antenna we shipped with coax already attached. All they had to do was take it out of the box and screw the wire to the connector. Had a 20% RETURN RATE on an incredibly good antenna.
Danny, I built the ultimate antenna and it works pretty good, but I have a problem.. All my channels CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox are located Southwest of me around 40 miles away, but I have a local Christian channel that is about a mile from my home located to the Northwest. I'm having to use the RCA booster to pull in the distant channels to the Southwest, and that is causing the really close channel to overload my tuner. Is there any way to maybe add a reflector to the right side of the antenna to block that strong signal that's so close to me?
Do you also use a distribution amplifier with the RCA pre-amp? If so that can definitely overload your TV tuner. If not, maybe you can add a 3 db or 6 db attenuator b4 the signal gets in the RCA pre-amp. Your idea also might work.
You can get a tunable trap and tune out the interfering station. I did that with my FM tuner when I lived on campus near the UCF radio station. I was trying to get classical music stations.
I think the reason for my question is the dimensions used for the "whiskers" = centered @ 9 1/2" vertically correct?, and the dimension for each leg the "diamond" is 7", correct ?. if both of the above are true than the diamond will be "out of square" by just over a quarter of an inch vertically, if that is correct, than I have no further questions on this antenna. thanks, regards
04:42 You go to a butcher n you say "man I don't want to stick my head up the cows arse to get a steak, just give me a good steak" This is my new saying.
Please understand that my question is not ment a derogatory inference, but to be sure I've not missed something somewhere and to possibly clear a question in someone else's mind. regards
look at the best buy etc.. high tech fertility idol type antennas cost $100.00 or more look at mr. hodges same concepts , the reflector grid , the ""whiskers" etc, all the same stuff but better quality copper and steel

I wish you were my neighbor. I think we'd have many a good evening of talking about stuff.
Danny ,you’re making some awsum antennas.Do you think a reflector behind an antenna in an attic would help ? I paired two antennas together in my house in florida and totally lost my signal

Hi Danny, will these antennas work if I install it in the attic? Jim
yes
Love you videos, would like to make an array for 50' tower to avoid rotor. Whis u lived in my area.

If you would use the grey electrical PVC it would last a lot longer since it is UV resistant.
cool antenna danny
Hi Danny, I hope you can help me out, up here in upstate New York. This summer Verizon built a mobile tower about 1000ft from me and I lost my TV signal ever since is there anything do.
Get a balun (matching transformer) with an LTE filter. If that doesn't work file a complaint with the FCC over the interference.

it might not work that close

NO distribution amplifier

What type of wire are you using for the reflector?
cage wire
I think I know where you are going with this, I might be wrong, but I think you are gonna make Rotors obsolete.
Oh good thing you reminded me to like! I already forgot it
I want that on a t-shirt ... "I don't wanna stick my head up cow's *ss to get a steak" :) Great video!
Great video Danny we cant wait till you cut loose!HA HA
