An interesting thing about Sekiro is that, in your first playthroug, it feels like the most difficult souls game, but it gets easier with subsequent playthrougs, because getting good in Sekiro is just understanding well its mechanics. I remember spending several days trying to defeat the Demon of Hatred on my first playthroug, but defeating him on my first try on the second playthroug. That shocked me so much, because that was the boss I struggled the most the first time I played this piece of art. With other souls games, in the other hand, the experience is different, I already completed Elden Ring like 7 or 8 times, but it does not get easier on each run. So yes, Sekiro is the hardest souls game, but only if you didn't play it before.
The thing is Elden ring is hard only if you want too. Playing overleveled, with magic and summon make the game a joke vs Sekiro which is hard for everyone whatever playstyle. Comparing the 2 games with and without added difficulty by player choice is not really fair. Try Sekiro charmless, with bell and without any prosthetics or consumables. You won't one try DoH, i can tell you that xD
@@TonyTony__Sekiro is also one that forces patience, I’ve just started playing it after AC6 new game++ and I’m moving too damn quick so it’s pretty hard for me atm while I adjust my speed.

Yeah its called "sekiro fps unlock and more" or something like that. Its weird that from locked this game at 60 because parrying isn't frame tied from what I've heard
Hey man, Sekiro is probably my favorite game of all time, I've done 15 playthroughs. You're doing better than most people I've seen lol. ONE HUGE TIP: get the Mikiri counter! It's by far the most important skill in the game, does massive damage and gives you another defensive option. It allows you to dodge into those red thrust attacks to counter them and is the single most damaging move in the game. It honestly should have been a default ability. You can get it from the Shinobi Arts skill tree.
@@VahHustlin oh phew, but he needs to be using it way more. Missed it at 8:21, 8:56, but he did get it a couple times at the very end. He also whiffed every lighting counter (probably missed the tutorial scroll on the wall). Most importantly he needs to realize he can hold LB for like 1-2 seconds and completely reset his posture while the boss is "idling"
Once you get the feeling to it, the game becomes a very good and fun challenge. You just gotta leave whatever dark souls taught you at the door. This game is pure skills, nothing else.
I’m gonna be honest, I don’t understand why people say Sekiro is the hardest. I genuinely find it to be the easiest of all of them, mainly because once you get like a quarter of the way into the game the combat just starts working. You kind of never unlearn it, to the point where it becomes almost mindless. That’s not a bad thing, I just think it’s strange that people paint Sekiro as the hardest when you have Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne.
when u beat the game and come back, u will realize that u dont even have to try recalling the bosses' move sets anymore, just pure instinct, that's what beautiful about it
Sekiro is probably one of the easiest "souls" games, that is if you consider it one. Not only is the gameplay different from Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring, but it's probably the easiest for newcomers to get into and master. Anybody who says otherwise is coping. Hard.

robert was his son, the same kid whose firecrackers you use in your prosthetic. He was made into a rejuvenating experiment and killed while his father waited guarding the bridge for years hoping to see his son get well one day.
The thing with Sekiro is, Since the game has such a structured & strict Combat system, If you get used to it, the game gets easy, Unlike the other souls games where you just have to figure out what's good for you and what build works best.

That's what I'm saying.
When people told me that it was the hardest i thought that it was impossible but the true is that the boss's fight are good but in a couple of tries you can defeat them😞
It’s still a miracle to me how I got stuck at Genichiro for 4 days just to then defeat the notorious final boss on my first try. Unlike some other fromsoft games Sekiro is perfect from the beginning to the end. No changes quality at all (expect that one bossfight, you’ll instantly know which one when you get there but it’s still no big deal). Absolute masterpiece.
Demon of hatred?
No way he struggled 4 days on genichiro, and beat ssi on his first try, bro's straight up lying
My whole game progression consisted of 5 days, of which 2 are sword saint isshin, i sweeped through genichiro in like 5th try
This guy is just bullshitting lmao, aint no way he beat isshin first try, mentally and physically impossible
@@walutin7675 Homie's in denial
@@nootnootmofos7415 denial that makes sense, it's just impossible to struggle on fucking genichiro and then beat ssi on first try, even if you played like the pussiest of pussies, hell maybe jf he watched dozens of videos of how to neat him and anylized them throughfully, but even so i doubt it
Its harder than fucking orphan of kos goddamit
Hardest from software boss period, possibly top 10 hardest bosses in gaming
i beat him first try too the demon of hatred is definitely the hardest boss
Bro travelled from Dark Souls 3 to find a cure for Robert just for it to end in tragedy smh
I like how the most dangerous bosses are the human-sized ones. And once you start using every mechanic in your arsenal, every fight looks so cool. Because you are encouraged to hit enemy even when he's guarding. Pressure and initiative are so tangible in this game.
*Demon of Hatred has entered the chat*
Ah yes, the nelo angelo effect
@@TheShaman572>get him stuck on tree
>climb up tower and jump to wall facing

Don’t think I’ve ever tried to beat him legit 💀
I discovered your channel from ds3 and I have to admit, your videos are absolutely amazing and very enjoyable
Sekiro can be frustrating as hell at first but once you start getting the combat it becomes sublime. I'm mid 40s so I don't think my reactions are what they used to be but I'm about 3/4's through my first playthrough and I don't want it to stop, might be the first game I do NG.
bro sekiro looks so fun, but 10x harder then everything else. i felt all those deaths 💀. ANOTHER BANGER CAPPA!
No it isnt.
@@issi529 be mad you’ll never be able to blow up like cappa did 🤷♀️
@@smallsmough I mean its not that hard. You are just having some skill issues.
@@issi529 2 weeks, blow up. it’s easy right? please, let someone be happy and let others celebrate that happiness. please stop bringing others down just to be an ass.

watching this guy mash the deflect button really brings me back
I genuinely love your mic. Throwback to 2010’s let’s plays. Good ol days.
you honestly deserve way more subs man hope your channel grows fast. you deserve it!
bro you’re one of the first gamer youtubers to genuinely make me bust out laughing since coryxkenshin😭 got my sub for sure cant wait for more vids
This video makes me really wish I could play this game for the first time again. I've been speedrunning it, so I can literally beat it in about 40 minutes (my record is around 36:38 right now.) That's for the bad ending, but still crazy to see how far I've come. Really hoping for a sequel/prequel so that I can get that first playthrough experience again.
the breathing and scream as he runs from the snake was all of us at some point guaranteed XD
love how the game gets better as you remember the attack patterns and you get better, literally just parrying will beat the game
I'm surprised you did that without deflecting the electricity back at him
On my first playthrough I didn’t do it either. Even tho it’s smart and easy to do so it’s kinda risky to try a complete new mechanic that far into a hard fight.
@@mt2r-music i did it too this way, but just because i didnt realize u have to HOLD L1 while in air, to get the lighting buff. I just tapped it like when i try to parry something and it didnt worked.
@@CoffeeGameMovie tap works as well, but you have to time it obviously
That's literally every game though lol. Sekiro for me just had way too many mechanics to keep in mind for me to enjoy it. I like the simplicity of the Souls toolkit a lot more.
I love this game because the fights genuinely feel like anime scenes! There’s so many ways to fight enemies and make it feel and look so cool
I am baffled at your lack of anger towards the blazing bull, that thing slapped me
bro dropped the hardest death screen edit and thought we wouldn't notice
I recently started playing Sekiro and this is so relatable!
One thing I haven't been able to figure out is fighting multiple enemies at once, other than that the game is soooo chill and nice!
Genichiro is the most iconic boss at the first begining imo, later we will have to face other jackass bosses who won't let us just stand still and reflect comfortably 😭😭
Nice video! There's a 144hz mod that makes the game run smoother if you wish to play with more fps than the default 60 locked.
Yeah its called "sekiro fps unlock and more" or something like that. Its weird that from locked this game at 60 because parrying isn't frame tied from what I've heard
i love that you never found out about lightning reversal and just won anyway. gj
As soon as you start combing different prosthetic arts, you feel unstoppable and it’s a 10
Hey man, Sekiro is probably my favorite game of all time, I've done 15 playthroughs.
He used that skill in the video a few times.
Not playing sekiro in Japanese is a crime. U rob yourself of hearing Japanese seto kaiba
This is the same with anime. If I don’t understand the language, why would I want to play it?
@@sobrato3950 Who wants to tell this guy that subs exist?
Once you get the feeling to it, the game becomes a very good and fun challenge. You just gotta leave whatever dark souls taught you at the door. This game is pure skills, nothing else.
"Tell your buddy to respect the 1 v 1!" 🤣🤣🤣
Demon of hatred got me acting up
I have been stuck on chained ogre for over a year
Idk if this is a joke but if you want to beat chained ogre hit him twice than back off, only hit him after he finishes a attack
@@TiggySL not a joke for me, I've literally stopped playing at chained ogre haha. Sekiro was just too much for my laptop
I find Sekiro surprisingly easy compared to Dark Souls :') I'm almost done with my playthrough of the game with daddy Sekiro. Feelsbadman
only thing that's hard with dark souls are the clunky controls
@@dupljak9 and lack of patience in some people
@@dupljak9 Nah, I just don't have a lot of patience and hate running back to boss arenas. Sekiro has idols everywhere, it's amazing lol
@Weyland Punani lmao, tell that to my adhd brain who can't patiently wait out an attack opportunity
Do you think DS2 is hard? Harder then Sekiro? Why?
Looks at giant beast with flaming log in its mouth:
"Can I parry that?"
when u beat the game and come back, u will realize that u dont even have to try recalling the bosses' move sets anymore, just pure instinct, that's what beautiful about it
Sekiro is probably one of the easiest "souls" games, that is if you consider it one. Not only is the gameplay different from Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring, but it's probably the easiest for newcomers to get into and master. Anybody who says otherwise is coping. Hard.
Complete nonsense.
And never use God’s name in vain.
7:36 That sound is from a vestige that says that Kuro will call Sekiro with the whistle he used at the start of the game when he needed him in the top of the Ashina Castle, thats a pretty impressive detail tbh
man, Im watching your videos over and over and Im not getting bored . Amazing videos .
robert was his son, the same kid whose firecrackers you use in your prosthetic. He was made into a rejuvenating experiment and killed while his father waited guarding the bridge for years hoping to see his son get well one day.
It's the only game where you become a God when you view every fight as a song with a unique rhythm.
i love how you can frantically hear him hit the button to mikiri counter during the genichiro fight
i subscribed 2 mins in, yo u mad funny 😭
I love how this game has made most of the player-base say, "who tf is robert?"
We just need one thing and that's a thing we don't have, patient while parrying.
Why is this so satisfying to watch someone has the same struggles as you had?
The multiple deaths on lady butterfly was hilarious tbh
Can't wait for this guy to learn about lightning reversals
Congrats on your first 1 million views, bro!
The thing with Sekiro is, Since the game has such a structured & strict Combat system, If you get used to it, the game gets easy, Unlike the other souls games where you just have to figure out what's good for you and what build works best.
The fact that someone out there beat this game blindfolded is insane
That first jump kick to the face from the red eyed ogre...
i just started playing sekiro and its my first souls game 😭 its so over

Genichiro is surely a skill check moment.
I'm honestly impressed at how few tries it took him to beat the first few bosses
Sekiro has to be my favorite game of all time. Once the combat clicks, it's so incredibly satisfying
This Game is awesome, I enjoyed this Game so much that I played it to 100 %. Btw nice video, subscription goes out😉
the genuine fear from the snake is the same when i first encountered the snake
I am super impressed you killed that bull in 3 tries! That was a pain...
this video is actually so entertaining i can’t wait for part two!
You did a lot better than most on their first playthrough lol. Some of my friends really struggled with Genichiro, he's the first real test of how well you've learned the game's mechanics. Sekiro is definitely in my top 2 FromSoft games (I have a hard time choosing between Sekiro and Bloodborne as my favorite)
Great vid dude but take note that spamming block to parry makes your posture drain slower, its a tough habit to get out of but makes parrying soooo much more satisfying
4:03 "Status... oh yeah I'm on fire. I'M ON FUCKING FIR-" sent me
Ahhh, the blade wiggle days, I miss this game being so new to me, I wish they’d make a second one
