Imagine dying a horrible bloody death and somebody puts it in the C tier
Me thinking how PewDiePie ranked some real person's death at F tier
@@AznYunHou pewdiepie did what
@@escapedscienceexperiement9824 Ranked historical deaths in a tier list. Starting with the Ancient Greeks
@@AznYunHou thats a little less messed up than what sprung to mind. still kind of a weird thing to do but not as bad as i was thinking 🤷
@@escapedscienceexperiement9824 yeah I thought he ranked a snuff movie phew
Ashley and Ashlyn’s death is probably one of the most painful deaths in the entire franchise. HOWEVER, they fall into the “death should fear me” category. They literally ignored their surroundings COMPLETELY.
And also, there was a very simple way for them escape. They should’ve just pushed the wooden shelf out of the handle 😮
@@alexanderwee2055i feel like they didn’t know that was the reason they were trapped :(
@@alexanderwee2055 watch the dvd version
Isaac Palmer has to be another painful-looking one bc he got stabbed a lot technically
I DEFINITELY agree to this that is by far the worst one out of the whole FD Franchise
i really love that your tiers are “wonky”. i like that it isn’t necessarily best to worst. it’s dependent on the franchise and it’s super cool to see it done like that! also i just love hearing your opinions on everything 😂
Agreed. Wouldn’t want it any other way. There are a lot of genres you could make tier names for like rushed deaths (the boss from FD5 with the wrench) or suspenseful interesting like Candaces death in FD5.
Yeah you can’t really rank every franchise the same way so I get it lol
Bottom tier ought to have been called "I will become back my money" 😂
The gymnast one where she goes full scorpion after stepping on a screw absolutely messed me up.
Ugh YES. I was a gymnast and… NOPE 😅
That scene made feel sick
That one just annoyed the hell out of me - a human body canmot break like that in that scenario
Always thought it was the dumbest death in the whole series.
@@ds7307 yeah this franchise has shitty deaths, unrealistic af deaths, realistic af deaths, terrifying/fear deaths, and funny deaths
I think this video would have benefited from a very short description of each characters death, cause I had to keep switching between a Wikipedia article of the movies every time you ranked a death without saying anything about the death itself
Same here xD And I had to check veeeery carefully because I'm just here out of morbid curiousity and I didn't want to accidentally see something gruesome haha
Yeah, I’m five minutes in and not bothering watching the rest of the video even though I super like her lol I don’t know the deaths by the character names :(
sounds like this video is good for newcomers and the franchise veterans alike
edit: nvm she still described their death and even forgot some
I think she can't or she gets demonetized but I'm not sure
Legit. Felt like we needed to binge everything in order to enjoy. Was hoping for a reminder/description. O well
what's annoying about samantha's death is that the build up was really nice imo with the ceiling fan and the hairspray etc (my fav part about the fd movies is how suspenseful and long the build up is for their death). so seeing how her actual death was just a rock through her eyes was just.... disappointing😭
To this day I always wonder if a running ceiling fan will fall on me.
Samantha's death may be disappointed but it was realistic. A lawnmower can throw a rock more than a hundred and seventy miles per hour. You get hit by that rock and your dead.
@@OBCDeeznutz my best friend had a ceiling fan fall on her when we were in elementary school, she gained a fear of ceiling fans but didn’t die 😂🤷🏻♀️
Totally agree! There are so many excitingly creative deaths you can conjure up with salon equipment and then it's just a rock. Seriously?

Aren’t we forgetting the guy that killed Roy in 5 thst had the engine of the plane smash in to him at the end of the movie, or did I dream that death? It had been a while.
I know this is late but JUSTICE FOR MY MAN EUGENE!! He was deaths biggest denier and he also died in the unmemorable explosion that killed clear! He deserved better and deserved to be on this roster!!
I came here to say the same thing. Hashtag Justice4Eugene
She also forgot about George from FD4 he got hit by the ambulance after the guy got crushed from the bath tub

hunt’s death is new fear unlocked but also idk like you mean to tell me you are in a PUBLIC POOL WITH CLEAR WATER SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE AND NOBODY SAW HIM STRUGGLING AT THE BOTTOM😭
Nahhhh fr tho😭 ever since I was a lil kid I was afraid of them pool drains but Hunt’s death is just too unrealistic I can’t- the fact the drainage lever wasn’t locked, the fact no one saw him in that clear water, and even then when I think of the irl cases of that happening (I think most cases were children too) they like? All survived? At least the initial injury- maybe they passed hours/days/who knows later, but I’ve heard of plenty of kids who lived or at least lived a lil

The fun thing about Olivia's death in FD5 is that in the premonition a car falls on top of her and later she dies by falling on top of a car.

She takes revenge xd
And then the car falls on the car, and then she falls on herself. I got it

the way hunt died just happened to a child recently, sucked out her intestines except she lived somehow. It went from being funny to me due to thinking it was impossible, to now being on alert when at a pool. Absolutely insane.
Man in the mid-90s they were always telling us to be careful because of the pool pumps, even before this franchise launched. Don't play on the pump at the bottom of the pool especially if your hair isn't in a swim cap! And that's why you never swim alone!

Anyways thank you so much for your hard work and excellent videos
Yeah same, I like the movies but I don't know every character and death off by heart so this was hard to follow
@@pippinlatham4857 I thought I knew the movies really well, but I know the characters by how they die, not their names!

Alex Browning died from a falling brick because it would have been too obvious if a flowerpot with a single forget-me-not in it landed on his head.
The elevator traumatized me. Now I always fear going in one and it 1: falling down and 2: me getting stuck in it
Alexz Johnson (Erin Ulmer) is one of my all-time favorite actors/musicians. She always speaks super highly of her time in FD3. Fun fact: She is naturally a blonde but had red hair because she was filming "Instant Star" at this time...the writers actually threw in a little FD3 joke in one of the Instant Star episodes. She's the absolute BEST!
I love her in so weird. She has an amazing voice for that age.
She's beautifull!!!!
Hey Sarah! Next ranking could you do a teeny tiny recap for each? Like five words that makes it easier for the viewer to recap? I’m really not good at names so this was really hard for me to follow. Just some feedback! Thanks💗 love u!
Yeah I haven't seen the movies recently so I'm like trying to scan the Wiki pages real quick as she's doing the tiers and I can't keep up lol.
I heard that they originally intended for Alex Browning to be a main character in Final Destination 2 but Devon Sawa, the actor who plays him, refused due to some kind of dispute with the production team. I am only speculating here but I can’t help but think the way they wrote his death was purposely written to be lame as a way to dunk on him lol.
Yea
Well it’s bc they weren’t going to pay him enough
I’ve heard that speculation is actually true. Lol
Alex has the worse death of the franchise
@@mr.checkyourself4672his death is one of my favourites to think about. I’m just imagining death trying loads of it’s usually elaborate stuff and Alex avoiding it every time and then death just goes “fuck it, brick” and then that kills him and death is just like “Awww come on”
Sam's death is 100% "Death should fear me" he literally went through it before and still didn't get out of the plane
He didn’t know someone had a premonition.
Yeah he really might’ve thought that he was the only person in the world who could have those visions. He even says earlier in the movie, “Something saved me on that bridge. I’m never gonna die!”

What about the final death? After Nathan discovers that Roy had a brain aneurysm and was going to die anyway, parts of the plane drops on the bar and crushes him.

Nora’s death IMO was new fear unlocked because even though she could’ve avoided it by them calming the hell down; I still get nervous exiting elevators because of it.
I would move tanning beds, Lasik, and acupuncture to "premonition please." Those ones are super damn painful, plus there's the added aspect of immobility which make them especially messed up.
This also maybe could've benefitted from a "hilarious" tier for the deaths that aren't necessarily frightening, but are just enjoyable or funny. Like the lotto winner who gets impaled by the fire escape - his death sequence is actually my favorite in the franchise.
The thing that honestly annoyed me was the fact she completely forgot about Eugene Dix (the school teacher who was killed alongside Clear). And also how she said Samantha's death was unrealistic... when in reality, it's actually one of the more realistic deaths (not the fake-outs from before, but the actual rock being launched by a lawn mower... that stuff actually happens in real life).
i feel like if a rock gets thrown by a lawn mower like that, it wouldn’t go through your eye and kill you it is unrealistic, it could damage your eye or your skull most likely but i just do no see a rock killing you like that

Yes I also noticed she left out George and Eugene. But dang I didn't catch she left out nathen. This was a fun list, but you forgot Eugene in #2 (Killed in the explosion with Clear), George in #4 (Hit by an ambulance), Agent Block in #5 (Shot in the back by Peter), and Nathan in #5 (Crushed by the plane debris).
All Black characters lol
@@carlomotta934 they made all the black charecter deaths unmemorable for some reason, like they overshadowed eugenes death with clears death and focusing on the charecters being distraught over her death, george happened off screen both times it happened and was quickly overshadowed by the main charecters distraught over what would happen to his girlfriend, agant block in general wasnt a really memorable charecter, and nathans death was such a dumb death like come on there couldve been at least one survivor but no never. but yeah very bummbed she missed them out

I would say that Carter and Hunt from Final 4 would be in "Premonition Please"
Cater got sliced in half with his wife, and Hunt got crushed and killed instantly in the Track Premonition. Better than getting dragged down the street aflame like Carter or stuck drowning surrounded by people who could help and unable to get a word out
physics major here to answer your science questions:
1. if you or the wire is moving fast enough and the wire is strong enough, it absolutely could slice you in 2 (or 3 in this case)
2. if the nail is long enough, yes it could go all the way through your skull
3. 17:38 a rock going through your eye could absolutely no doubt kill you
4. 22:50 lasik lasers are cold lasers which means they emit no heat and can’t burn your eyes so that would be unrealistic
I love how Olivia died by a car falling on top of her in the premonition and by falling on top of a car at her real death. Only realizing this now, I hope that was intentional :D
Love this!! I wish you went more into what the deaths actually were versus the individual characters that died… Either way great vid!
Skipped four characters. Eugene Dix FD2 explosion, George Lanter FD4 hit by ambulance, Agent Jim Block FD5 shot by Peter and Nathan Sears FD5 crushed by plane engine/propellor.
I think part of the point of Alex Browning die by a brick is because of how boring it is. They survived all of these ridiculous death attempts only for him to be killed by something so simple that they didn't even think about the possibility.
20:08 This death is, in my opinion, the funniest movie death ever. When her foot gets caught in the escalator she immediately starts spitting out blood from her mouth, like she's a roll of toothpaste.

The one from 4 you missed out was the one who gets hit by an ambulance btw
Also I feel like Ashley and Ashlynn deserved the premonition much less pain for them

Your cat is adorable! I have a black cat too named Benji. Also my top favourite final destination death is from final destination 3 (my favourite final destination movie is the third one it’s so good) and the tanning bed death from it is my favourite. It looked the most painful and scariest death

@@thecrownoffusion8420 That's very vague, though. I think you could say that about any entry in the franchise.
When I was a kid my trousers got caught in an escalator and luckily my leg was freed by a few people pulling my trouser leg up out of the join between the floor and the escalator. I’ve been terrified of them ever since. That’s the only death from the worst FD that had any effect on me 😂
Wait Carter Daniel’s death is one of my favorites. Maybe I’m biased because I’m a person of color and he was portrayed as a racist that died trying to kill the black security guard (I love everyone equally tho, gang gang 🤟🏽) but the pale ale beer he was drinking (tb to almost all the FD movies), the fact that he got DRAGGED by his own truck and set on fire (which was a huge theme of this movie), idk that’s one of the scenes that makes that movie eh to me. It’s still the worst one tho 😂
They straight up lit the actor’s leg on fire and the stunt double completely on fire, dragging them both, to get the shot. As terrible as the movie and characters were, that death was one of my favorites in that movie
to me that death on its own is kinda ok, but the music makes it hilarious
That's what I was thinking! It was a satisfying death and very memorable to me.
I was salty that the death was so looked over in the ranking 😂
I love that death because it's so incredibly ironic. It's one of the best from the series for that reason alone.

I’ll always remember Candace’s death in the premonition because of this quote from Roger Ebert’s review of the movie:
‘The actors in a movie like this are essentially doing product placement. By getting their names and faces out there in a splatter movie, they can perhaps catch the eye of a casting agent and get a shot at a decent film. They have studied their craft. They have struggled and dreamed. They have attended countless auditions. Now at last they have a role in a major Hollywood release, and can call home: "Mom! I get impaled by the mast of a sailboat after I fall off a bridge!"’
i'm pretty sure hunt's death actually happened and caused new regulations for pool drains/pumps.
I love your tier videos because you focus on making them fun and interesting, always a great watch!
I think the reason why so many main characters in FD have lame deaths or die off screen is the producers always want the option to bring them back. Lol.
I was traumatized by Candice's balance beam death. Something about the way her body just crumpled in on itself got me.
I love love love these lists, the reasons you give are always fair and I’d love to see more! the tanning bed death scarred me for life!!
Erin’s death will always be my favorite. Final Destination 3’s deaths are top tier for sure. The fourth one is the only one that had lame ass deaths tbh like I don’t think it has any good ones.
The escalator premonition death was the only memorable one from FD4 for me
My friend actually died from a brick falling off a 6 story building and hitting her in the head. So it does happen, she was waiting at the bus stop next to a building being worked on
The one in Final Destination 7 where the girl slips on a banana peel and disintegrate in a massive pool of gore when she hits the ground is my favorite. Or it will be...
Final destination 7?
@@wendywhaleyums2932 woooosh
@@sarkaztik3228 we’re not on Reddit….🧍♀️
You should have a tier list of how they die in the premonitions
The tanning bed scared me really bad. Not because I have ever been in one and I never plan to or want to, but because I knew a lot of people that did use tanning beds. So much anxiety for meeeeee lol
To be fair to Alex’s cause of death: from what I can tell Alex and Clear had be routinely saving each other from near death accidents for a while. At that point I’d like to imagine death was just like “fuck it, I’m just gonna throw a brick at this asshole”
I just saw on your shelf that you have Junji Ito's Uzumaki and The Books of Blood by Clive Barker and that makes me extremely happy. You should review them on the channel.
Literally JUST finished your Saw trap ranking video, to go to my subscriptions to find THIS. Absolutely love the ranking videos Sarah! Keep up the amazing work as usual.
Fun Fact: in a bonus feature on the FD3 DVD, they reveal in a newspaper clipping that Kimberly and Burke from FD2 actually ended up dying in a wood chipper accident.
Also, Hunt’s death WAS based on a real life accident. I believe a girl got stuck on the drain and had part of her intestine pulled out, but she didn’t die.
12:56 is the most valid Death Should Fear Me because in the DVD Choose Your Fate feature, he can actually survive if you warn him properly, and he doesn’t die at all!
the ranking is a great idea but you should give us all small recap of their death so we could say we agree or not with your ranking. Not everyone remembers their death or have seen all the movies. but keep it up. i enjoyed it
I genuinely love how you ignored George from The Final Destination. The actual ambulance death
I also don’t see Jim’s death lol. Which is fine, the fact that it’s a gunshot kill in a Final Destination movie makes it seem tame as hell.
@@RealHajimeHinata that death genuinely makes my blood boil, due to plot it makes sense, but at least make it creative
@@varisrevolver4061 ikr like I would’ve changed it so that Peter instead leans in closer and shoots him right through his head for a bloodier kill. Just an idea lol.
@@RealHajimeHinata or not via a gun, or not killing him
The only reason i can think Alex's death was "just a brick" is because he skipped Death shennanigans so much it just run out of ideas, so he just throw a brick at him
That's how of an MVP Alex was
candice's death is the most disturbing death of the whole franchise
unrealistic af but disturbing for sure
@@omarslayz Not really that unrealistic. Perhaps the mass extent of the death (broken bones everywhere), but plenty of people have died from breaking their spine from falling the wrong way.
@@sarkaztik3228 yeah definitely but i was talking about her death itself WITH the bones and body looking like it’s made of jello is VERY unrealistic
@@omarslayz the death is realistic (I’m a gymnast trust me) but the special effects kinda sucks
I liked the fear in Ashley and Ashlyn’s death but I HATED that they had to be naked when they died considering how sexualised they were throughout the movie
I love how this isn't the most popular or commercialized (milked to death *ba dum tss*) but almost everyone has been affected by the deaths. I don't know anyone who looks at a truck with logs or pipes and doesn't cringe or comment on it.
I know for a fact that logs don't bounce and it looks a little goofy in the film, but I still do a double take whenever I see a log truck on the motorway.
You forgot about the guy at the end being crushed by the plane wheel, I can't remember his name but that scared me for months, I would lose sleep over the thought of a plane tire falling into my room while I slept because I live near and ariport
I was so disappointed when they killed Olivia and Erin. They were such great characters in my opinion and deserved much better.
I 100% agree olivias death made me so upset and erins was so brutal
after i read the novels, i can say it clearly: erin deserves so much better, I loved her character
Re: Erin Ulmer - My partner had a nail gun accident in which the nail went all the way through his femur (and partially shattered it). Therefore, I can believe that one would make it through a skull at the right angle. Just FYI.
I love your tier rankings. I’m hoping it’s just a coincidence that you left out the deaths of all of the black characters.
Probably just forgot as Lewis’ death was ranked and he’s black.
I think it says more about the franchise than it does about her. Clearly, they should have more black characters and create more exciting roles/deaths for them.
they’re just all boring, that’s the franchise in itself though
I caught Final Destination 3 on TV as a kid and the entire subway sequence traumatized me for YEARS. Something about that scene just stuck with me and I was afraid of the metro for a good chunk of my childhood. I guess you could say it was my log truck.
THIS is the content I subscribe to. Love me some Final Destination talk.
Makes me want to make my own!
The death that really traumatised me was Evan’s. Not necessarily because of the garbage disposal (I don’t think they’re a thing in my country) or because of the fire escape, but because it made me irrationally scared of some pointy thing stabbing me in the eye. We used to have a metal tray/trolley in our kitchen that had a metal leg that stuck upwards at the top and every time I walked by it I would have intrusive thoughts about falling over it and getting stabbed in the eye by it 😰😖
I like your videos a lot, especially the tier lists, but I do wish you spent like a sentence describing the scene/death a little more because it’s been a hot minute since I watched most of the movies you talk about.
I've seen like one final destination like a decade ago and that logging truck one still sticks with me. 100% new fear

Your comment about Billy Hitchcock's death and the new fear thing...I was walking home the other day after driving my truck to the shop and I saw a piece of metal out in the middle of the street with cars hitting it. I was standing there waiting for a moment when I could run out and get it to prevent anything bad from happening (like it getting hit wrong and thrown or someone's tire getting damaged), and every time a car got near it I kept thinking "okay, please don't get flung at me, please don't get flung at me, etc." Thankfully it didn't and I was able to get it out of the street, but I still kept thinking back to this franchise in that situation.
I haven't seen Final Destination in forever and have never remembered the characters by their names, just by the way they died. Had to click out of your video because you don't even mention how half of them died and I was sooo lost and confused
The Billy Hitchcock one lives in my head rent free. Big trucks driving past me make me instantly think of it for some reason.
Every time I get sad, I remember Sarah named one of her cats after the best cat from Cats, and that makes me remember life is worth it
That tanning bed scene absolutely unlocked a new fear for me. It was more that I had no idea how badly burning alive in general would bother me until I saw this death and freaked out. However I was 9 years old. A lot of that specific movie unlocked new fears for me lol
When i was a kid i thought movie theater screens where like an actual tv screen so and i was always scared it would tip over and crush me haha
There’s an interesting one about Carter foreshadowing his death when he rolls up on Alex and Claire with Terry into the void by Nine Inch Nails plays “pictures in my head of the final destination” as he looks at a café that parallels The the Paris Café. I feel like everyone knew about the café but the song playing is creepier rewatching
