I got this jacket a couple of months ago. It's comfortable and stylish, but waterproof, it's not. 30 minutes walking across Dublin in a light but persistent rain, and I was soaked to the skin.
FYI, it is said that only weatherproof and water-resistant, water resistant isn't the same as waterproof. It has a lower level of IP rating than waterproof. So it's better in light rain for just a small amount of time.
For those looking to buy it, absolutely get it. I got one for my husband and myself and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Its so comfortable, really nice material and has been great to wear in heavy U.K. rain.

The material is not durable. I got one 4 weeks ago and the fabric on the back is allready roughed up by wearing a backpack. My jacket before that lasted several years without that problem.

For rain, the only thing that might work is an umbrella. I am resigned to this fact.
