    Ben, I found a natural way to lower BP so I can still have my coffee! I tried the BP meds and had bad side effects with them. A nutritionist told me to try this and it worked for me. Daily 1 potassium (99mg), 1 magnesium (500mg) & 1 regular aspirin. 6-8 cups of Joe a day and my BP was like 155/95. Still drinking the Joe but my BP now averages 130/80 with the minerals and aspirin. Not perfect but better and no nasty side effects. (wife is happier too 😉😉)

    Question: to get a really smooth neck profile, would it be practical to use long strips of sand paper and just pull them back and forth over the back of the neck? Hate to be a backseat driver, but in my mind it just rounds everything over pretty efficiently.

    Not being cheeky. Serious question. What was the luthier’s solution for things like filling in frets before super glue was an option?

    • @CrimsonCustomGuitars
      @CrimsonCustomGuitars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hide glue, maybe? Though actually, in some early stringed instruments, the frets were made of some kind of animal gut wrapped completely around the neck at each fret point. The earliest solid frets were made of bone. This is an interesting article: musicgalleryinc.com/blogs/matts-blog/the-history-of-the-fret-as-it-relates-to-guitar-and-bass?_pos=1&_sid=32d48622b&_ss=r

      It's an extension of the usual workshop.

    • @PaulCooksStuff
      @PaulCooksStuff 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can see through into the "old" workshop at 13:10 ish.
      From memory of q&a's, the new extension has space for a desk behind the main camera view (so sister/wife/child don't have to perch on a stool for 6hrs during livestreams), room for the book collection, moving the workbench into the extension means he can reorganise the space in the old shop so all the power tools are more accessible, and generally organise stuff (like the wood shelving).

    Ben's next build series will be "One Hand Only Guitar Build". Where Ben builds an entire guitar using only his right hand. He can build the jigs and clamping systems in advance with two hands, but the entire build will be with just his right hand. That's my prediction.
