Bicycle can get more famous in the western media compared to just Korea, like Dreamcatcher's genre of music. This is why I enjoy PD's kulture studies because he doesn't only give reactions but also his insights in the song and can even tackle the wider aspect of the genre, artist, and the music industry. I so much agree with your comments, PD. I hope that this song would also get lots of music wins because Chung Ha and Bicycle deserve it so much. I'm also hoping for Querencia to become a hit and would win awards, it's such an amazing album, for real!
Honestly, it makes me so sad because she’s so underrated like she contracted Covid twice, suffered atleast 3 injuries (that we know of, she doesn’t want fans worrying) and insomnia from the stress and anxiety of this release. This song and album deserves the world. I’ll forever be thankful.

This is why I love ChungHa. Bicycle and her album Querencia is proof that she’s so versatile and doesn’t need to tone down her personality to fit one genre. She’s her only competition, truly inspirational

X is an emotional song but it's not a usual ballad, it's midtempo instead of all slow, and also has a nice rock tinge to it! The MV is kinda weird but interesting, it'd be reallly great to see you react to it PD

Also, one of the things I admire about Chungha is that she started to grow her dance team unlike when she was just starting. They're not just back up dancers. They definitely help to lift Chungha's performance into a whole new level each comeback. Their bond and chemistry is very admirable too.

the thing i noticed is that chungha's vocals is versatile, she got so many collabs and her songs are everywhere. she sang an ost and collabs with many people from different genres. its amazing. chungha's management is really taking care of her.
I really like how Chungha acknowledges her Korean American identity and it definitely shows through her music. Culturally, Chungha is a product of the East and West, and I know a lot of idols are foreigner Koreans, but Chungha is one of the few that really exudes that feeling and attitude in herself and her work. She does that effortlessly. She has a different and unique charm to her. She’s truly one of a kind.
In terms of promotion in America, "Dream of You" actually got some spins on U.S. Pop radio last month. I dunno if it's dropped out of the chart, but I thought that was pretty cool. I could see "Bicycle" getting some spins on radio as well. I do think Chungha does have the potential to break through in the U.S. All the ingredients are there.

Whether you're a stan or not, you really gotta commend and applaud Chungha's talent and versatility as an artist at this point. She really took risks for Querencia and if you've listened to the whole album you will 100% agree that it absolutely paid off. She truly is such a force to reckon with it's kinda scary. The entirety of Querencia has genre experimentation everything from UK Garage, Old School Dub Step, Glitch Hop, even Reggaeton. It's a really versatile album Bicycle is just the tip of the experimentation Iceberg on the album. Side C (Unknown) tracks 11-15 is probably the most out of left field section on the entire album.
The thing about Chungha she's not scared to do a whole 360° change on her concept. That's why i love her so much!
