Like even if the cast is comprised of dumb teens, there should be at least a bit of common sense that MAYBE revealing the identity of the guy that protects the school from weekly dangers could ENDANGER THE WHOLE TOWN OF NORRISVILLE!!!
Maybe if it was just the people turning into monsters I would believe that it would be ok, but given that robots are also a threat, she shouldn’t have even tried. At best, the robots would just go after Randy. At WORST, they would go after people who he cares about, including parents, any siblings he may or may not have, Howard, and THERESA, WHO IS DEBBIE’S FRIEND! I have no sympathy for miss Kang.
Imagine if Theresa becomes a ninja herself, then Debbie wants to uncover her identity. And when she does, Theresa makes her choose between her fame or their friendship. To the point that Debbie chose her friendship, over fame, and became a new ally for Randy and Theresa's ninja identity.
@@ciscojacobo7168yeah man, I think that if they did season 3 Debbie Kang would’ve had her own subplot where she tries to figure out the Ninja’s identity after her erased memories come back in her dreams (like William in Code Lyoko). Then after the episode you mentioned where Theresa has to take Randy’s place as the Ninja and Debbie manages to figure it out, her memories completely returns and she remembers Randy is the Ninja. She then asks Theresa (who would’ve learned Randy’s identity at the start of the season and joined the duo) why she didn’t tell her, Theresa would bring up the events of “Debbie Meddle”, calling her out for it for endangering the whole school just to get into a journalism school in Flackville. Theresa would then give her the choice that she could try to expose Randy again and lose her as a friend or keep quiet and lose all the fame she could get for her discovery. At the end of the episode, Debbie would realize how shortsighted she was being and keep the secret to herself, much to the Randy’s and Howard’s surprise and Theresa’s delight. Deciding to give her another chance, Randy would let her join the team but she would still have to deal with Howard and the Nomicon who wouldn’t be as ready to forgive her

I always wondered why she never showed the contents of Randy's bag. It had both the mask and the nomicon. While the nomicon could refuse to open for her and just seem like a well-detailed hardcover book to everyone else, the mask is a different story. It would quite literally solidify her case I get that her stealing the bag was plot convenience for Randy to defeat the robot while he's a civilian, but if they weren't gonna have her utilize it (I'd assume because it would be next to impossible to actually convince the school that Randy isn't the ninja), then they could have left the bag with Randy. While it was very fun to watch him try to destroy the robot without any weapons or protection of identity, I think it would be equally as fun to have him destroy the robot normally and just have everyone call him by name. A jarring sort of comedy if you will
To be honest, if she used the mask as evidence that randy is the ninja then would the nomicon would turn the mask off right? I mean we seen it happen we randy misused his power as the ninja. So even if she used the mask as evidence it would probably look like a really cool and detailed ninja mask.

Debbie Kang is unfortunately another character that's very underutilized. She's a very good foil to both Howard & Randy, especially Howard, & I've always been curious to know what the relationship between her & Theresa was. Since she's a journalist I always thought she should've interacted with Heidi more often but that only happen in what episode. At least that's what I remembered.
There shouldve been a trio. Randy, the main man, Howard, the goofball some times selfish friend, and Debbie, the brains of the group and activis-.... wait.. That type of group sounds familiar... its escaping my view... like a Phantom.

Fuck it, Debbie fanfic that I had written in a Discord server. Breaking this up piece because I’m breaking TH-cam as well. Spring was finally arriving and the snow from the winter had finally melted. But to journalist Debbie Kang, the memories within the snow wasn’t going to melt any time soon… “Randy Cunningham, 9th grade ninja.” Debbie muttered to herself “I don’t even remember reporting about that… Did I?” The journalist asked herself. Days have passed since that incident, Debbie’s memories were still very hazy. Was Randy the ninja? No, that seemed very, very unlikely… Yet it’s the only thought that had some sense of familiarity. Before Debbie could ponder this thought any further, she felt herself get snatched by someone. That someone being none other than Heidi Weinerman. “Look Debbie, this spring, I need some scoops okay? Don’t wonk it up like you did last time!” Heidi snapped, pushing her finger into Debbie’s chest “If you do, I will find someone to replace you!” Debbie would furrow her brows and snap back “You want a scoop? Oh I’ll give you a scoop alright! It’ll be scoop that blows whatever that incident you talk about out of the water!” Heidi just smirked at Debbie and said “Well, don’t keep me waiting.” Heidi would leave Debbie alone. She would say softly “That almost sounded like… Randy…” Debbie didn’t think too much about it. She would just go inside NHS. Strange, it was still empty with no one in sight. Debbie would peek in the windows of each hallway, but all the rooms where empty. It was just room after room of empty classes. But then, there was one room that did have something inside of it. She recognized this room as the journal room, and inside was “Debbie” and the same slim figure from outside holding up a book of some sort ready to strike “Debbie” down. The slim figured seemed more detail this time, having a red shirt and Tyrian purple hair and blue eyes. Debbie was about to warn “Debbie” about the slim figure, but at the last second “she” turned around. “Were you about to hit me with that book?” “Debbie” would ask. “What? No, I was gonna do this!” The slim figure said while opening the book. There was a blinding flash of light. In next instance, Debbie found herself in some sort of dojo room. “What is going on?” The journalist would ask out loud. Suddenly, she saw two samurais facing the same slim figure. “You are guilty of conduct unbecoming a ninja! Turn in your mask!” One of the samurais demanded. The slim figure would begin to run and samurais would pursue. Debbie noted, the slim figured was more in focused. “Was that… Randy?…” Debbie asked as she took several steps back. She would continue to look around the strange place. Suddenly, a hallway with a massive door at the end would open up to her. She would go down the hallway, and as she did, she would see the many battles the Ninja had fought. When she finally reach the big door, she was bewildered at what was hiding behind the other side. In front of her stood a giant Randy. Randy would say as he placed something on. “No one’s gonna believe that I’m the ninja.” Randy would place on a mask, and before her eyes, Debbie would watch Randy transform into the Ninja. Debbie’s jaw would drop as she slowly backed away and said “Randy Cunningham… Is the Ninja!?” A bright light would suddenly shine behind the Journalist. She would turn around and see a massive door coming her way. Written on the door was “THE ULTIMATE LESSON”. As the door rushed at Debbie, it would open and a blinding light would shine… Debbie would wake up and sit up quickly, gasping and trying to catch her breath. She would glance over to her alarm clock. It read 4:59AM. “I must have slept all of yesterday.” Debbie would say quietly to herself. She would stand up and stretch, her dream fresh in her mind. “Huh… So I did have a reason to report about Randy.” She would say as a large grin creeped on her face. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Theresa had came to Debbie in a hurry. Kang had messaged Fowler that she had some urgent news. But I’m going to need your help.” Theresa would smile and nod her head “Okay. What can I help you with.” Debbie would just flutter her lashes innocently and say “I just need you to help keep an eye on Randy.” Theresa would roll her eyes out and sigh out exasperated. “No Debbie, he isn’t the Ninja.” Debbie would shake her head and hold up her hands. “No! No! No! This isn’t about that!” The journalist would lie. “I just think Randy is hiding a very interesting a secret?” “But didn’t you say he was an idiot with no interesting secrets?” “Yes! Yes! I know I did! But… I just had a hunch as of late and I think otherwise. So please, for me, could you keep an eye on Randy?” Theresa would sigh, but reluctantly agree. As Debbie handed Theresa a backup camera, she would think to herself. ‘I’m going to unmask you Randy…’ Context: This happens day after Debbie Meddle It goes off a headcanon that I believe the Ultimate Lesson doesn’t actually wipe out an individual’s memory, but instead just makes it difficult to remember said memories. With enough verbal/visual cues, one can be able remember their memories. It’s what happened the Randy after all.
Really wish she still knew Randy was the Ninja and that she wouldn't be convinced to not do it because it wouldn't be right, but because if everyone knew Randy would be mind wiped and someone else would be chosen to be Ninja making her scoop pointless. I just finished rewatching this show thanks to u and I can still see the enjoyment for it but Howard ruins it for me and somewhat Randy in season 2 and it's just because Howard just gets more and more annoying as well as selfish with the episodes forward along with Randy doesn't seem grow as much from season 1 he makes the same mistakes as he did before. Maybe not watching It from start to finish I would have a different opinion on this but this is my honest truth and the final battle with the sorcerer was very anti-climatic it felt way to easy for Randy to defeat him like that
Because Debbie says that Howard's story is absolutely disgusting and it feels out of character to completely fall with him to a sudden save her from a inconvenient trap hole in that story entirely.

Debbie would facepalm and sigh out exasperated. She would sit back on her bed and ask out loud.
“We’ve asked almost everyone! Who else can we go to?”
Theresa would blush slightly and said
“Well… There’s one person we haven’t gone to…”
Debbie rolled her eyes and asked
“You mean Randy?”
Theresa would let out a tiny nod. Debbie would shake her head and said.
“I doubt that idiot has anything interesting to scoop about! Aside, the last time I allegedly scooped about him, I was completely wrong!”
Debbie would fall back in her bed and said
“Heidi is never going to let me hear the end of it! That’s why I need this scoop! So she can leave me alone!”
Debbie would go silent for a moment…
“I don’t even remember that even did it.”
Debbie would say. She would sit up from her bed and ask Theresa
“Did I really report about Randy?”
Theresa would nod her head and said
“Yeah, you said that he was the Ninja.”
Debbie would facepalm and say
“Even if I did, which I wouldn’t, I would be able to remember it.”
Theresa would scratch the back of her head and say
“Everyone else remembers it clearly. It’s kinda of odd you don’t.”
Debbie would growl and sat up.
“Well… I have these hazy memories. Randy Cunningham 9th grade ninja, I don’t remember ever reporting about that but yet… It sounds so familiar…”
Debbie said with a sigh and continue
“I’d never report anything without reason… So even if I did say Randy was the Ninja, there must have been a reason…”
After a moment of silence to think, Debbie would come to a conclusion for her next course of action. Debbie gently place her plushie on her bed and say
“I suppose the scoop can wait.”
Theresa would smile and said cheerfully
“It’s about time!”
“Right now, I need answers. Why would I say that Randy was the Ninja?”
Theresa would immediately facepalm and sigh. She crossed her arms and frowned as the journalist went for her camera.
“Come on Resa, we’re going to follow Randy around for a little bit.”
Theresa would stand in front of the doorway but not move. Debbie would be puzzled by her friend’s act and ask
“Uh, Theresa, we kinda need to be somewhere.”
“No.”
Theresa said. She would continue to add on.
“What you need Debbie is rest. You’ve been at this for three days nonstop. It’s not good for you.”
Debbie would growl in exasperation and snapped.
“I’ll be fine Theresa! Now come on, we need to go!”
Theresa would remain firm however and say.
“No Debbie, you need rest. Look, you’re saying how you have hazy memories right?”
Debbie would be puzzled by the question, but nod her head. Theresa would say
“May be with some rest those memories will be more clear.”
Debbie sighed and said
“Fair point… Fine, I’ll get some rest.”
Debbie would go lay down in her bed and cuddle with her plushie. Theresa would begin to hum Debbie a lullaby. Although it felt childish, Debbie would feel more relax. The exhaustion would slowly creep up. Debbie would slow drift off to sleep.

Debbie was walking alone to school, but for some odd reason, one half appeared it was still in winter while the other half was in spring.
“That’s odd…”
The journalist would say to herself as she continued her way.
It was eerily quiet, no one else was in sight. Suddenly two hazy figures appeared in front of her, one slim and one fat.
“Come on, no one’s gonna believe that I’m the ninja.”
The slim figures said to the fat one. In the next moment, both figures suddenly disappeared in mist.
“Whoa…”
Debbie said, taking a few steps back.
“That was weird…”
Debbie would take a moment to repeat the voice in her head. She would say softly
“That almost sounded like… Randy…”
Debbie didn’t think too much about it. She would just go inside NHS. Strange, it was still empty with no one in sight. Debbie would peek in the windows of each hallway, but all the rooms where empty. It was just room after room of empty classes. But then, there was one room that did have something inside of it. She recognized this room as the journal room, and inside was “Debbie” and the same slim figure from outside holding up a book of some sort ready to strike “Debbie” down. The slim figured seemed more detail this time, having a red shirt and Tyrian purple hair and blue eyes.
Debbie was about to warn “Debbie” about the slim figure, but at the last second “she” turned around.
“Were you about to hit me with that book?”
“Debbie” would ask.
“What? No, I was gonna do this!”
The slim figure said while opening the book.
There was a blinding flash of light. In next instance, Debbie found herself in some sort of dojo room.
“What is going on?”
The journalist would ask out loud. Suddenly, she saw two samurais facing the same slim figure.
“You are guilty of conduct unbecoming a ninja! Turn in your mask!”
One of the samurais demanded. The slim figure would begin to run and samurais would pursue. Debbie noted, the slim figured was more in focused.
“Was that… Randy?…”
Debbie asked as she took several steps back. She would continue to look around the strange place. Suddenly, a hallway with a massive door at the end would open up to her. She would go down the hallway, and as she did, she would see the many battles the Ninja had fought. When she finally reach the big door, she was bewildered at what was hiding behind the other side.
In front of her stood a giant Randy. Randy would say as he placed something on.
“No one’s gonna believe that I’m the ninja.”
Randy would place on a mask, and before her eyes, Debbie would watch Randy transform into the Ninja.
Debbie’s jaw would drop as she slowly backed away and said
“Randy Cunningham… Is the Ninja!?”
A bright light would suddenly shine behind the Journalist. She would turn around and see a massive door coming her way. Written on the door was “THE ULTIMATE LESSON”. As the door rushed at Debbie, it would open and a blinding light would shine…
Debbie would wake up and sit up quickly, gasping and trying to catch her breath. She would glance over to her alarm clock. It read 4:59AM.
“I must have slept all of yesterday.”
Debbie would say quietly to herself. She would stand up and stretch, her dream fresh in her mind.
“Huh… So I did have a reason to report about Randy.”
She would say as a large grin creeped on her face.

Theresa had came to Debbie in a hurry. Kang had messaged Fowler that she had some urgent news. Before Theresa could knock however, the door had opened.
“Ah, you’re finally here!”
Debbie would say as she yanked her friend inside the room and dragged her into her bedroom.
“Debbie, what is it? What did you find out?”
Theresa would ask, now in the confinement of Debbie’s bedroom. Debbie’s grin was still on her face as she slowly paced around the room.
“Well, you’re advice did work. The memories came back to me.“
Debbie would turn around sharply and clap her hands as she smiled at Theresa.
“Now, why I called you over. The reason is I think I found something worth scooping about. But I’m going to need your help.”
Theresa would smile and nod her head
“Okay. What can I help you with.”
Debbie would just flutter her lashes innocently and say
“I just need you to help keep an eye on Randy.”
Theresa would roll her eyes out and sigh out exasperated.
“No Debbie, he isn’t the Ninja.”
Debbie would shake her head and hold up her hands.
“No! No! No! This isn’t about that!”
The journalist would lie.
“I just think Randy is hiding a very interesting a secret?”
“But didn’t you say he was an idiot with no interesting secrets?”
“Yes! Yes! I know I did! But… I just had a hunch as of late and I think otherwise. So please, for me, could you keep an eye on Randy?”
Theresa would sigh, but reluctantly agree. As Debbie handed Theresa a backup camera, she would think to herself.
‘I’m going to unmask you Randy…’
Context:
This happens day after Debbie Meddle
It goes off a headcanon that I believe the Ultimate Lesson doesn’t actually wipe out an individual’s memory, but instead just makes it difficult to remember said memories. With enough verbal/visual cues, one can be able remember their memories. It’s what happened the Randy after all.

I just finished rewatching this show thanks to u and I can still see the enjoyment for it but Howard ruins it for me and somewhat Randy in season 2 and it's just because Howard just gets more and more annoying as well as selfish with the episodes forward along with Randy doesn't seem grow as much from season 1 he makes the same mistakes as he did before. Maybe not watching It from start to finish I would have a different opinion on this but this is my honest truth and the final battle with the sorcerer was very anti-climatic it felt way to easy for Randy to defeat him like that
