I don't care about the VAR. That wasn't a penalty. The Brazilian player passed the ball to his teammate; he wasn't touched! Yes he had to just to avoid stepping on the tackler but he was never fouled. Plus he completed his pass. I understand if he was dribbling the ball and it happened.

Rockman Terra gonna be honest with you mate. He kind of dived. And if I be even more honest I wouldn’t give a penalty. They played clean advantage and 3 shooting chances to score. They did not deserve the penalty in that scenario. And he essentially could have jumped the player. Which he did to an extent. But he rotated forward midair to fall over.

Mexico won that all the way. They got robbed when the non existing penalty got called. That Brazilian player jumped up to avoid contact not because of the actual contact. He was not even harmed. I would've called fair play in my opinion

When the main ref get the signal he is going for the checking the event again , the call can come between 30 seconds of open play ... Then the main ref goes for checking the replay and then what decision the ref made is the final decision ..... That's how VAR works ... Don't you know about that ???
