Hey Jose, Nice review and glad you checked out the Sam sulek video. Prime has made a lot of sales to the public based on false representation as the premium brand on the market. I think public opinion in the home gym community as well as the public gym market is quickly changing. I know several people disappointed with their purchases from prime whether it be the functional trainer or one of the other machines. I’m glad you spoke up about cheap parts they use and the stickers etc. Having used this machine myself I also think it’s way way overpriced for what it is. It’s decent but does not feel as premium as the freemotion, arsenal strength, cybex, or rogue. How was your experience with their sales guy Mike? I heard their customer service is not very good and that the sales guy Mike is the only person you can buy equipment through and that he is pompous and just miserable to deal with. Your channel is awesome man, I absolutely love your setup, I think your setup is my favorite home gym setup on TH-cam. Take care man

I also bought more pieces so it made sense to get it from here from a shipping cost standpoint. Mike was alright but he can take some time to answer back so just reach out to them once you are ready to pull the trigger. Hey Jose, I’m going to have to go ahead and say NO WAY to prime fitness. I’ll be getting all of my equipment from companies that have great quality as well as good customer service. Rogue, arsenal strength, panatta, freemotion, hammer strength, sorinex. I’ll even go with rep fitness before prime. NO WAY JOSE TO PRIME FITNESS. 😂
How does this compare to a life fitness functional trainer signature series the ones you see at la fitness commeeifcls gym I’m thinking if I should buy prime fitness’s functional trainer or the life fitness
@@thomaspham-qf4ryone buddy got his and the arms were different lengths, another buddy said one cable came extra long, there was also a recent post on Facebook about getting his after 50 weeks and it was all scuffed up and they sent him cover up paint. I wouldn’t go anywhere near prime. Totally overpriced and they have terrible quality control. Go with freemotion or cybex. My preference is freemotion though. I’ve used them all and I think the freemotion genesis is king of the market
Those extra wheels on the pulley would help in a garage with a sloped floor - that is usually when the weight stacks starts swinging out of alignment and gets less smooth or moves out of place enough for the center piece to start hitting the remaining weight plates. Those wheels keep the weight stacked aligned

Hi, probably still the prime. The ease of disassembling it and bringing it down to my basement was the main reason why I bought this. It is very smooth and I havent had any issues with it.
The freemotion genesis is the best on the market. It’s not even close. Then I would say cybex. Tuff stuff would be right there with cybex. The prime ft is overpriced and honestly nowhere near the quality of the above mentioned.
@@nowayjosehomegym the only thing i like about life fitness is its 10x more smooth then prime way more smooth, i see why Sam smith said it doesn’t feel good doing the stack life fitness 4.1 at heaviest weight feels so smooth like butter prime felt horrible on my elbows at high weights

I like this machine more because of all the degrees of freedom against the LF one that you only have vertical adjustments.
