    Dear Madam
That was an awful performance. I can feel it was about shiva performing as Nataraj. There is a feel in this composition. What caught my attention was the way you are performing at a pace sometimes with ups and down, mostly suprising is the way you used your legs with stillness and calm but moving them fast. Music and your dance are in great sink with eachother. Being born outside India, I would like take a bow to your dedication and Hardwork to learn these Indian Classical art forms and performing them with perfection. Dont know where could we find these kind of classical art performance these days. Again the composition was excellent

as graceful as it can get... please throw some light on tribangh.. you move the head bust and the legs. what is that you communicate and what is the viewer focus on.. if i want to see the expression on face i miss the leg movement.. so how to read the dance. this happens especially when i watch on TV. is there difference in live performance.. am not sure if a good connoisseur of art can enjoy a show from 20 feet or more ?

Trina get simply refers to the the triple bend stance creating an S curve in the body which he s emphasized in Odissi and broadened in Chhau into the basic position Dharan. In Chhau, as in Manipuri and western performance art, the entire body is used in unison for communication so you want to see the whole figure. In Odissi and some other Indian classical dance forms, there elaborate movements used in the dance performed without text/story are minimized when performing the expressions abhinaya interpreting text. Hope this helps answer your question.

many thanks for your time. hope i can get the correct n complete meaning soon.
indian odissi is more of 'between the lines' and leave the interpretation to the audience when no text is there.
but in chau & western it is always accompanied by text and clarity.
yep... i am a student of dance and life in general.. hope i am getting there.
