I really expected the new gen. Tundras to get much better fuel mileage then the 2nd gen.,However my 2020 SR5 TRD OFF ROAD DC gets 18-to over 20 mpg on the highway with normal driving.
To everyone who has the new gen. Tundra, l wish you the best of luck with your new trucks.
I am going to keep my Tundra for the foreseeable future and beyond !!

I always wondered about mpg in Sport mode. Thanks for the review Mark.
I am usually in Normal mode however I do go into Sport mode the last 30 miles before a fill up. I do like the Sport mode. I’ll have to see if I get what you got in Sport mode. However I tend to drive a little bit faster more into the 70-75 range with a sprinkle of 80 to pass slower moving vehicles.

Just got a 2024 TRD off-road. Loving it so far. Still have my 2014 SR5 and love it. 267k miles and I would not hesitate to drive it from my home in houston up to Alaska. That being said, it was time to make it strictly a work truck on the property here.
I just subbed to your channel. Looking forward to learning more about my new ride.

Why use sport mode on freeway? Manual specifically says it’s for mountain canyon driving when weaving back n forth in curvy roads. Plus it lowers cabin fan power. Stupid, LOL. However it is good for open freeway on-ramps to sport car that shit up to speed with the quickness. Thanx again I used your code for my TRD lift kit
