griezmann for france is getting disrespected in my opinion, best player at euro 2016, arguably the best at the world cup 2018, and a top 3 player in world cup 2022 (in my opinion, france's most consistent player up till the final). One of the best players for france of all time in my opinion

I feel like Greizmann should be considered an all time French Great… given what he’s achieved with the team and his consistency with them… let’s not forget he played 73 consecutive matches for the team and he’s up there in goals as well.

I understand the comparison, they're both technical lefties, and they achieved comparable status in the world of football, both are WC winners as well. However, I do think that Di Maria just has a bit more natural talent compared to Griezmann, no disrespect to AG though.

He should definitely be. He has been the most important player in a team that has been at the top of the pile for 10 years. By far the longest stretch in French football history. Watching from the outside it is a no brainer if you base it on international football.

Griezmann is absolutely fantastic for France for a long time. He's been an instrumental player, and it felt like had France dropped him many games in the past, the whole team would have crumbled and looked absolutely shaky in terms of efficiency and creativity. Yes, his first four games at this Euros are absolutely weak, but then again, the entire forward line for France underperformed this Euros thus far. He has a winners mentally, and he's the type of player you want on the pitch if you don't want to bottle games in crucial moments. A good example of this is immediately after he was subbed off in Euros 2020, the entire team fell apart totally uncharacteristically and got knocked out by Switzerland. If France wants to Actually win the Euros, Griezmann has to wake up and perform like he the past two seasons with Atletico madrid.
Griezmann is the reason France can't play good football he can't create as a 10 or score. I know we forgotten football because of the new system pep has created but a 10 is the like or Musiala and Writz, Ronaldinho. Griezmann can not play like none of them. He was better of on the left winger when he played for Real betis

Griezmann is an all time top 10 french attacking players... easy. He doesnt have the media bias cause he has played at Atleti for so long. Had he had the same accomplishments at a club like Arsenal or Juventus, for example, it would be a different story. But the media hates Simeone and that projects into his players. Has performed amazingly for France in 2016, 2018, 2022 events + that Nations League they won.

Griesman is probably the last of the true Libero players going. It can be argued that France builds the team around him. He’s over the entire pitch. Say what you want about Mbappe, he’s become a dynamic distraction for defenders as of late and not much else.

You're wrong friend, without Griezmann France would fall in the round of 16 of the 2016 Euro, would fall against Uruguay, Belgium and perhaps not even win the final against Croatia in the '18 Cup and in 2022 the team wouldn't get past England in the quarterfinals, much less in Morocco in the semi, in these games his work rates and decisive assists made the time reach the final. Furthermore, how can Zidane be more influential if he has fewer goals, fewer assists, fewer games, fewer Euro+World Cup games and fewer goals in knockout stages?

Nonsense. Griezmann two seasons ago scored 17 goals and had an astounding 19 assists for Atletico de Madrid and this season he had 24 goals and 8 assists so he at 32 years old contributed to 32 goals. He has never been that good for France.
