This vet is the most informative doc I have ever watched. I don’t own a horse and I learn something new every time he’s on. Katie is really great at explaining also. I absolutely love this channel.
The Vet is great, always answering questions and explaining every step! Katie, you too always get so excited when there is another successful embryo and I do not blame you. I am not a farm girl but had relatives that grew tomatoes on their farm. They raised over 2000 chickens and sold eggs, but only had one milk cow who was a mean one.. I love watching your animals give birth and how you all take such good care of them. Enjoy you all!

Katie, you probably hear this all the time, but I thought it so I’m going to say it. You really have beautiful hair. It’s so long and thick and shiny. You need to get shampoo and cream rinse sponsors! Whatever products you use are working really well! Hoping everything goes well with Howie and all the mares. Take care!
I agree, Katie’s hair is gorgeous!! She should try and get sponsors. Funny thing is, 10 years ago I used Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner, it worked wonders on my hair. It did make my hair grow faster, but with the shampoo AND conditioner (not just the shampoo for some reason, Drug Mart was out of the conditioner).
Katie's done videos about her hair, she has a great hair dresser/stylist and uses Olaplex treatments. I was like I'd loooove to have Katie's hair but can't put that kind of money into it (not a criticism! Just reality)
I agree! But you can't get that with products just like you can't get beauty with makeup. It just enhances what's already there.

I love how your vet not only provides information to help understand what the potential cause was and then the solution, but the fact he lets you practice administering and guides you through it is so awesome. You could totally be a vet apprentice under him!

You're not "dumb" Katie, I've literally had Ultrasound techs mess up telling me I had a specific type of fibroid (leiomyoma) when it was just my NORMAL monthly ovarian cyst pre period.

I’m sorry if this has already been asked/answered but I’m a fairly new follower and just curious why you transfer embryos to recip mares instead of allowing the mare who conceived to carry and breeding the recip mares for their own babies?
It’s far too risky for the good quality mare.

Plus, if she was "that rude" I'd feel as though he wouldn't be as willing, informative, patient and reliable with the services he provides and infer that she finds someone else. So, that tells me she's super lovely to work with and for.
