All 4 japanese motocycle makers sell dualsports like this in Srilanka. I really hope this bike will prompt them all to introduce more dualsport bikes in India.
233 cc below 140 kg seems like good deal I will definately buy if it's under 3lacs i own impulse aswell for banglore roads you need to have dirt bike to ride
That is a good point. The reason I did not show the exhaust note as I did it in the previous walkaround video - th-cam.com/video/LRu5MPRjW1E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=f6CxA9PRvQ47qweR But I shall try and incorporate them in future reviews too. Cheers!
There is one concern regarding the tank size. It's only 7 litres and if you happen to take it off road which will definitely be off city limits, there will be a concern of the rider running out of fuel in the trials as there will be no fuel station available nearby.
That is a great point you bring. I was told by Kawasaki that the KLX 230 should do roughly 250km on a full tank. I know that is still not too much but a bigger tank would have made the bike heavier. From what I have seen, most people tend to ride to an off road track within a radius of 50km (at least here in Delhi). So for that, this range is fine to get to the track and ride around it. But yes, if you plan to go hunting trails in the wild, you would have to carry extra fuel.
It's game over for the Xpulse ONLY if they price it really well. Also taking into consideration that there aren't many Kawasaki dealerships across the country.
Yes. Pricing is crucial. As for the dealerships, Kawasaki is aiming to improve their network in the coming year. It will not rival Hero's network but should make things slightly better.
The more you call this bike is "for a specific customers" the more it dies of sales. CKD or not, if its priced more thsn 2.5 Lakhs, its going shoot its sale in it s own foot. Look at the consequences of Yamsha R3 and MT03 sales 😒the pricing killed its existence. Hope kawasaki makes it in india 🇮🇳 to get it priced fairly (like the w175) so it can get a fighting chance at the Indian 2 wheeler market share 💚
Hero should have stripped of xpulse even more making it more cheaper & bring xpulse 400 at premium . Instead it has updated xpulse 210 which is now more heavier & pricier for marginal improvement such as little more power & liquid cooling .
Kawasaki said it will do roughly 250km on a full tank (7.2L) so that comes to roughly 34kmpl. We will try and test the real world range once we get it in Delhi.
Im living in the hilly region. If the price is around 2.5L ill definitely go for it... if it is above 3L ill gor ktm adv or duke 390 with knobby tyres 😂
@aakashpaul9586 with a 7 litre fuel which is just 2 litres more than a scooter I highly doubt people will buy it you need to have atleast 13-14 litres fuel tank or a decent mileage both of them are missing on kawasaki so probably they won't sell it in high numbers
To be honest its nothing much different than Hero Impulse. However they will definitely mess it up with over pricing...2 Lakh + is over priced for this bike.
What should be the ideal price for the KLX230?
200000
@@Thar25232.5 to 3
They should not compromise in quality just for the sake of pricing. That's the main concern.
2.49 L ex-showroom
@@rahulsarin1600 not many parts or gadgets in this bike to compromise the quality 🙃
This is definitely not a single bike on garage, but for those who can afford multiple bikes this bike is a fire !!
I totally agree! You will need another one for regular commutes while this stays only for playing in the wild.
I always dreamt of such dirt bike..my first love was sx enduro
Xpulse will continue its legacy

I desperately hope too!

This seriously scratches the same itch as the Impulse. And the lightweight just makes it so playful
I bet on u.. tis onroad price 3.5L 😂😂
@@chris0423 let's ride it if this is worth in price range, I am gonna add to my garage.
you missed the most important thing the exhaust note. And that made the review incomplete.

I would buy one just to use on the monsoons.
Price plays an important role
Hero knows what they are doing
Yes, price is going to be very crucial for this one.

200 km off road ??😂😂
@@TheWanderingMind4So your off road trail is just below your building???

Pretty sure unless you're in the Thar desert near the border with Rajasthan everywhere in India is 140 km within a petrol pump.

just waiting for yamaha to launch tenere 700 🤤
Bro comparing 230cc segment with 700cc great
💯
I am drooling at the thought of a Tenere vs 800 DE vs Transalp 🤩
Bromotiv will buy one
It will be priced at 3 lacs, because the localised has to be compterively priced, this is just a showcasing.
Hi thanks for making video May i know do this bike has tubeless tyres or tube Tyres.
Tube tyres only.
What happened to the Yamaha's bike that's similar to this? I forgot it's name
Yamaha WR 155 R

if it is 3Lacs, it is dead on arrival unfortunately. 2-2.5 OTR is dream pricing for it

Wait for 2025 ktm adv 390
Approx cost of it would be over 3lakhs 3.20 lakhs ish so ffforget about it being sold in huge numbers in indian market
I don't think Kawasaki is looking at huge volumes just now. Maybe once they start producing it locally, that might change.

reviews are not from a expert off road rider and the way you stand the bike is wrong...
vedio quality is just avaerage. update ur gear
Finally got some quality machine...Hero quality worst..too heavy
2 lakhs 50 thousand
very soft suspension. not good for fast offroad rides
2.5 lac
I don't like the green colour 😂
Well there is a grey colour too if you like more subtle paints.
Another bike set up to fail in india. Kawasaki prefers making profits solely from their aerospace and heavy industry.
