Ya, I was shocked that he didn't even make an honorable mention. 2:35 this is a tad misleading to say cejudo had double champ status “with defenses in both divisions” that’s always worth objecting to, albeit lightly. Henry vacated his flyweight title after a successful defense over Dillishaw who came down for his own double champ attempt. While he held flyweight yes he did earn the vacated bantamweight strap. But before defended that one, he dropped that flyweight belt 80days prior. So by the time he was defending bantam, he wasn’t actually double champ. It would be incredibly special if a champion simultaneously defended two belts - or even defended their second belt while still holding the first - ala Daniel Cormier. Henry didn’t do that. It’s relevant bc he could burn his flyweight ships so to speak. He had no obligation to keep his body anything close to flyweight and could build his body back for good to bantamweight and focus there for his defenses.
When I think of a career cut short unfairly, it is T. J. Grant. A great lightweight on his way to a title when his concussions caught up with him and he had to retire. Such a shame.

This is a list of the best fighters, ever
The chael fight changed Jon’s career, simply couldn’t push off that foot anymore, crazy when you see the difference before and after
Where's Zabit????? He should been number 1 or 2
I’m a casual, who’s the dude talking at 4:30 about Nick Diaz’ suspension
No Zabit is wild
You can’t classify him as great but it sucks big time that TJ Grant had to retire before he could fight Ben Henderson or Anthony Pettis Dude was a savage and I’ve always wondered what could have been with his career had it not been cut short.
We need a video on Dricus duplesis making these professional fighters his son
Luke won a belt and no one thought he would do anything to Anderson, what in the world
Hey, thats funny!! I doubt many people in the fight game have much respect for luke rockhold!!🤔🤔🤦♂️🤦♂️
Thanks for throwing in that ricky bobby clip too!! Thats like my favorite part in that movie!!😂😂
Imagine if JBJ was like Wonderboy, clean veins, super nice guy, maybe he'd lose his edge I dunno, but it would be interesting to see it.
I think they should only give Tony Ferguson one more fight, but it should be for the title.
For me, it's someone who didn't even make this list. Andy Wang was an absolute *warrior,* but the UFC brass were worried he'd destroy all their prized ponies, so they cut him loose. Damn the politics!
It still pisses me the fuck off what they did to Nick, quite possibly the biggest what if in MMA history
Nick did a lot of that to himself, 18 months isn’t that big of a layoff. He could’ve fought if he wanted, he chose not to.
I feel like not having Francis Ngannou in here is wild, imagine if the UFC managed to book him vs jones. I think Jones would win that fight but it would have aged so much better for Jones and his career, and if Francis managed to get it done it changes the entire sport and instantly makes him one of the goats. To me that fight is one of the biggest what ifs of all time for both fighters.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect that number 1. lol
Henry wanted the fans and the UFC to beg him to come back and all he got was crickets
The fact Jones has SO much on the table and he's still the goat is insane. Khabib the same, considered great and retiring at 32 💀💀 and still known as the lightweight goat
Another list is a must.
Round 2.
Where's Rory?
If things were different... they wouldn't be the same.
Nick Diaz suspension was a punch to the gut 😢
What if Garbrandt fought TJ and didnt let his emotions get the better of him.
After that Cruz performance he could’ve been legendary
Conor McGregor Prime. RIP 2014-2017
Also Khabib, didnt defend title enough, retired too early, never moved up a division, never fought an elite grappler. could have been so much more
For me its hands down Dustin Poirier. Just him not winning the belt. Same with Diego Sanchez. The fact that he didnt get the belt in his prime is crazy. Not that the belt measures success but its pretty heartbreaking seeing Dustin get so close, beating everyone but never getting the belt. Damn Dagistanis
So many issues brought on by themselves.
No one is in Jon's way but Jon himself. It's crazy how self-destructing he can be.
