is it a kind off sand, riversand you put in the hole before planting ?

You missed the most important part. Where did you get the green parts from at the :25 mark? Were they from the top of the pineapple or from where you cut the pineapple off, or where???? And you didn't tell us what the powder was that you added.

Looks like they are off shoots from a pineapple plant. The white powder at the end looks like wood ash. Heard pineapples are acid loving plants.
