yea but what is the point to think you're doing like Django ? He is not django, he should just play his thing.. Even if Django's style is amazing, no one should try to copy that.. But taking inspiration yes for sure. At the beginning, when i started listenning him, i was totally amazed, truely touched in my heart by the beauty and spontaneity of Django's intentions. At the point i was completely absorbed by the idea of copying him with my own guitar while i was barely starting the instrument. But then what ? I define myself by being a copist of Django ? No, so i went in many other directions (american jazz, modern jazz, funk etc..) Nevertheless, respect to his job, he has very good technique to copy more or less Django's sound. I also respect the fact we all have very unique and different personalities and it's the most amazing thing about human beings, but come on man, it feels like if you could teleport to 1930 and live there, you would do. Clothes, house decorations, even hairstyle.. Maybe that's your dream. I mean i wouldnt mind to actually go make a tour in old egypt, old greece, light century etc.. But that is different, it's just about the curiosity of questionning i have about how the world and people were doing at these times. Might be one of the most fascinating thinking, but we will never be able to reach it physically of course. Thank to archeology, or more recently photos, broadcastings, writtings, we can almost "feel" some part of human kind history..
@@gael5609Believe it or not but even Django copied his style from others but just added his own things to it. So if you wanna be and play like Django. Copying django and making new music and ideas to guitar playing is the most django thing you could do.
You talk with your guitar Duved ! I feel like I'm understanding what you are saying not with words but with notes. Thank you for what you sing to us, it's wonderful !
Love your stuff! I'm thinking about buying your course on soundslice, one question though. Do you talk much about the rhythm playing (chord voicings, time feel, etc), in an interactive, play along kind of way? Or is it more focused on lead guitar paying.
Brown (or khaki) shirts are not inherently "scary" - but the Nazi SA "brown shirts" and SS were !! But even the "good guys" allied military wore/(wear) utility khaki shirts.
Naturally, this how Duved dresses all the time.
looks great
Super playing. Great ideas, tone, feel, everything. Thanks for posting. Cheers!
This is the true Django sound and intention! The sound that all gypsy guitarists should look for! Less notes, more heart.

Everyday casual style for Duved is what I wore to my wedding.
Beautiful playing , really nice ideas , great for us learners, thanks man

This is the essence of Django's style, feel and substance. Lovely playing, thank you.
Really enjoyed that. I love that you got the lyrical part of it, not just the shred. Beautiful.
What a grand pleasure to hear you.

Tout. à. Fait.
Man, I really love your playing.
You really get how it's done.

Tout est dit, bravo duved
Always imagining Django, when I'm listening your authentic sound, "Hot club" great style!
brilliant and great Duved.
love your honest and true style :)
que hermoso tono !!
Super inauthentic if you ask me. They didn't have backing tracks in the 1930s!
(Totally joking, I love you Duved)
Well, yeah, but his phone's named Joseph so...
wanna sound slice it?
4:02” She’s funny that way” Moret.
Brilliant
the best, next to django! yes! for me, even better than rosenberg, lagrene, debarre, etc... duved tells stories, the others basically shred
Exactly!
Totalement d'accord avec vous...
Lovely
Incredible
Great Duved
what's the name of initial piece of your video called The 1930s Django sound?
Best thing since Django.
great soloing ideas!!Can somebody do a list of the tracks Duved is playing? thanks.
Any relation to the Soviet composer ?
🔥🔥🔥

You are wearing this at home? 😊
Now I believe in reincarnation!
RIGHT??? But seriously he just gets it - with such sensitivity to the melody and dynamics. You know, just like... :-)
What kind of guitar is this?
Not just django... lonnie johnson and eddie lang played a lot like this
Really something…when you close your eyes you think it is him…
4:20 is scary with the brown shirt!!!!
looks like an army shirt but the sound of that guitar is amazing!

lol, it's not nearly the same shade, my first thought was a british soldier on leave from the North Africa campaign.
Eize ah
Don't any practice Duved!
