The Midnight is underrated so BAD. THE BEST music of the 21st century hands down.
The live version is even better than the studio version. 👏
Because it's actually another studio version, with some live audience sounds dubbed in, set to some random clips of the band at various performances. Not recorded in one take in front of spectators, which is what most people think of when music is titled "live".
I think in general most of their songs sound better live, which is good, because it shows how excellent they are for live performances!

I agree, and looked into it a little. I wondered why live songs have that extra guitar edge and bass fullness that just aren't quite there on the albums. I'm pretty sure it's because they added Royce Whittaker and Lelia Broussard from Jupiter Winter as touring members. And man, what a catch. This is like a supergroup now!

Her name is Lelia Broussard, I believe. She's a singer for another band called Jupiter Winter, however she's become a regular on Midnight Tours.
She's the bassist, and coincidentally, the guitarists wife!

Phenomenal live version. The guitar solo at the end is a thing of beauty. Royce is definitely a shredder on the guitar.

Just saw them live in Ybor city and what an amazing show. This is a band worth going hours out of your way for to see live. Best concert you’ll ever see!
I remember traveling across the country to see you guys in 2017 at the Globe Theatre for the very second Midnight show with FM84 and Ollie. Seen you guys 4x since then across different states. Needless to say this is a great recording of the vibe and anyone who is on the fence about going to see you guys should buy the tickets asap.

I normally don't like live recordings. All the screaming distracts me from the music, and often it lingers before snd after when I just want to hear the song. But this. Is AMAZING!!! 💚💚💚💚

Interesting, I feel like this whole track is one giant love letter to The Police! I hear elements of Walking on the Moon, Don’t Stand So Close to Me, and Synchronicity II for sure!
This part reminded me of Toto's "Home of The Brave". But all that 80's bands have great influence on this track. Amazing!!!

Saw them in London this year. One of the greatest shows of my life. Bought tickets for Brooklyn in October because I missed their LA show. I cannot waits. Best band in the world. “If we live forever let us live forever tonight!”

took my son and his best mate too there very first concert watching midnight at manchester academy in march..they had school the next day and we only got home after 1am lol
my son said it was a life changing moment he said it was the best night of his life and he was emotional in fact we all where..best concert ive ever been too.

Been a fan of the band for a few years now, but I wan't sure how well their music would convert to a live performance. Still, I thought it would be worth giving them a go, and I picked up a ticket their show in Hammersmith earlier this year. Needless to say, I had nothing to worry about - The Midnight are phenomonal live. Can't wait to catch them again. But in the meantime, I'll just have to settle putting this, and the upcoming live album, on repeat...
