Mr. Sanchez is a true tenor man. Very underrated master of the saxophone.
One of the best renditions of this classic in a long time. All absolutely terrific musicians at the top of their art.
Sanchez really blew this away. Bean would have loved this rendition. They all sounded terrific.

Une des plus belles, sinon la plus belle interprétation de Body and Soul que j'ai pu entendre....sans doute David Sanchez y ajoute-t-il une personnalité particulière, mais l'osmose des quatre Darryl, Jonathan et le maître Kenny nous émerveille profondément.....Là encore, la finesse de l'interprétation est impressionnante de simplicité apparente, au point de nous faire presque oublier la difficulté à jouer ce morceau avec.... âme

I've attended several Jazz festivals in Marciac - my last was in 2009. Why didn't I go the following year when Kenny Barron - who's playing i just love - was there. This is just gorgeous.

"GREAT COMMENT" - now that you mentioned it, Kenny Barron (my favorite living jazz piano player) does have Errol Garner-like influences in his playing at times - maybe that's why he is so great! - "KEEP ENJOYING THE SOUNDS OF JAZZ"
