IF the husband finished testifying early the judge would have asked the defense for there next witness, would that have changed things?

Someone might want to testify in order to clear their name and put their side of the story- being charged with murder is as serious as it gets. On the other hand it's up to the prosecution to prove the defendant's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Defendants' testimonies often seal their fate in terms of being found guilty. In the UK a politician called Jeremy Thorpe was tried for conspiracy to murder. His lawyer advised Thorpe not to take the stand because he knew Thorpe's guilt would soon become very obvious to the jury. Thorpe was acquitted.

Absolutely but I have no reservations in saying that they will find her guilty. If you are accused of murder and take it to trial, everyone just assumes you're guilty. These comments sections are always filled with ppl wanting vengeance, not justice. And unfortunately those are the ppl asked to be jurors. They're too stupid to have to decide someone's fate. I would love to be on a jury, if the state didn't provide evidence beyond a reasonable effing doubt, Idc if we had to stay in that jury room for days, you'd not get a conviction out of me.

Calm down, Greta. I bet most people don’t think she’s guilty just because they brought her to trial; but because it makes sense that she is guilty in this case. Sure, there is some doubt, but circumstances are compelling. You think she had no questions as to why they were purchasing those minutes for the phone? Or questions about cleaning materials in the car? Or you think the Dominoes manager was mistaken about a female caller using the name “Jen” where she was lured then murdered? Who dropped him off at the location? And then had no questions why? Maybe she thought he was just going to have a chat or scare her...come on! With Phazer in hand?

That’s what they are trying to figure out if she had anything to do with the murder . She made the call to order the pizza to lure her in and she had the kids in the car that night based on whiteness and no dna evidence to attach her to the crime tho ...there is a tape online of her bragging about the murder and she deficated on the vets grave and has been caught saying she hated her and wanted her dead but then again that was all whiteness statements and the daughter said she put dog feces in her yogurt and was jealous of her. But the husband admitted to killing her yrs again and she stopped bringing their kids to see him and married his best friend and took over his business and home and all and the now ex husband in prison got his mom to record her confession and he came forward that she was part of it . She is not a nice person and very venomous and just wicked and very capable of this crime but no real solid evidence placing her there. So Monday it’s live stream in the morning for maybe closing and all . She made a smart move on her part not to testify cause they will rip her apart like they just did her now husband her exes best friend . She’s a witch ! They knew that vet had a fighting chance and it’s horrible gruesome murder . Rip Ashley ( that’s the military vet) may she Rest In Peace . Prayers to her daughter too poor girl

A vet? Oh, Army veteran (not veterinarian). When I think of a veteran, I tend to think of one who served in war. But yes, she was in the service at one time and murdered.
