+mishellereine Thank you! I fell head over heads in love with that ink. Now to figure out a way to mark that I have written. Hmmm... Sounds like I need a new sticker! Haha
I have been using my A6 Avec for journaling since the start of October, and you are so right about the size being non-threatening for journaling. Especially since I'm giving myself permission to write large (1 line of writing/2 lines of grid), so it's just a few sentences a day.
+Andi S Ooh, I like that idea. I have really small handwriting so if I use every line it might become overwhelming. Are you going to get another one for next year?
+TheSassyPineapple I haven't decided yet. I like journaling every day and I certainly have plenty of other notebooks I could use, but I suspect that I won't keep it up without the format of the Hobonichi. So I will probably get another one. I want to try the English version anyway, since I'm not in love with the Japanese one (I like the minimalist design of the English more).
I loved this video! I hope you'll do some updates throughout 2016 :) Of course you don't have to share everything, but I'd just love to see how the planners worked out for you and if anything changed in regards to how you use them and stuff. :)
Such a great set up and designation of different functions for different planners/journals. I'm in the process of figuring out my 2018 line up, and even though this video is a few years old, it's still so relevant! Definitely subscribing :)
Great video! I really enjoyed seeing how you're planning on using these. I like your idea of putting different pictures inside the Cover on Cover! Looking forward to hearing how it goes when you get to start using them. (And in the meantime, I'm curius to see your next non-Hobonichi videos!)
Love your videos. Stumbled across them this weekend and have been in marathon mode. I am a new subscriber! Keep up the wonderful work. Very informative. I have decided to order the Weekly. Quick question. Where did you order the pen clip loop?
Thank you for the informative video. When you are discussing the daily pages for your Cousin (at about 22:49), you mention inkwell press hexagons and your goals. Will you please tell me more about the hexagons, or direct me to the video where you discuss them in detail? Thank you.
+Regina Renee Hi, here is a link directly to Inkwell: inkwellpress.com/pages/shop-for-planners-inkwell-press. There are a ton of TH-cam videos that will give you a better picture. What I am referring to is the mission board on the front of the monthly pages. :)
how you use post-its w/ your planner is EXACTLY how i want to use them w/ mine: to provisionally stake out things & to use markers so i do not have to worry about bleedthru & ghosting. i want to use black, white & clear post-its too, which is exactly why i need to get either Stalogy or Bonomemo.
+Iblame Summers Sticky notes are my best friend! Jetpens has Bonomemo, too. I like the smaller ones - version 2. :) www.jetpens.com/Bonomemo-Window-Sticky-Memos-Ver.2/pd/12020
Great video and very helpful! Given you have both a Midori and the techo, do you know whether the A6 techo will fit in a standard size Midori? I have read that the Weeks version will fit, but I'm thinking I might prefer the day-by-day techno. Not to worry if you don't know the answer! :-)
Thank you for this! I purchased the a6 for 2016 and have been racking my brain for what to do with it. like you said it doesn't speak planner to me either, but a gratitude journal it does. I was going to do my gratitude in my main planner but it's already packed each day as is and having something separate to go bck and reflect on is a better idea. Also I wanted to know where did you get your uni style pens from. I've been on the look out for a good set, since I color code everything
+Lynn Thompson You're welcome! I get them from jetpens.com - they have both the barrels and refills in all different sizes, plus free shipping over $25 so you can't beat that! Here's the link:www.jetpens.com/search?q=uni+style+fit&v=2
Great ideas. How is having all these components to your system working so far? I am doing something similar in that I use several planners. Unfortunately, for me I can't help but feel I'm trying to hard to use all these planners I've bought and I'm beginning to doubt if they're actually helping me become productive. =(
+Teresa Magno These are preliminary setups since the planners don't start until Dec & Jan, respectively. What I've found is to take a step back & evaluate what *I* really want and need, not what I think I should do or what is working for everybody else. For instance, I love watching planner setup videos & artistic spreads, but it's not for me - as in, I will NEVER be an artist no matter how hard I try or want to be one. I also get really overwhelmed watching so many setups and planner jumping. I understand it, enjoy it, and get lots of great ideas, but sometimes I just need to take a break and decompress from it all. Just know yourself, don't be afraid to try some things out, but it's ok if it doesn't work. It's not a failure; chalk it up to a valuable learning experience to make better choices for yourself in the future.
Everything looks beautiful and that includes your setup using art and quotes. Great job on making it tailored to your personality.
+BlushnBlue Thank you! I can't wait until Dec/Jan to start using them.
One of the best planner videos I've seen! Thanks!
+Jennifer Jacinto I really appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Super love! I ordered the A6 (journal), A5 (college) and Weeks (workout/diet). Love your videos!!!!
+Stephanie Dawsey Thank you so much! Oooh, nice plan - keep me posted!
This was an awesome video! Love all the great ideas 😊
So totally love the blue Ghost idea!
+mishellereine Thank you! I fell head over heads in love with that ink. Now to figure out a way to mark that I have written. Hmmm... Sounds like I need a new sticker! Haha
+TheSassyPineapple I would maybe color code a mark on the page to indicate. Something you know but not too noticeable
Good idea! Thanks. I'm thinking blue of course :D
Great video...now if I could only find a 2016 planner :)
I just discovered your channel. You do a wonderful job explaining the planners. Now I want to try a Hobonichi!

+Vegan Organizer Thanks! I'm gearing up for my no-spend month, so that'll be interesting. ;-)

Yikes!! Very admirable. :o) Good luck!
I can so relate to the journalling issue!!!! :-)

Where can I buy some of those pen clips?
