Gorilla toddlers always strike me as the most human looking of the non-human great apes, in their face and body shape and behaviors. I can’t understand how people laugh at other great apes and think we’re so much better than them, the more I learn about them the more it’s obvious that we ourselves are just chimps with sports cars and suits.
Ha! I watched Bibi crossing the grass and thought she must be related to Shinda and Kijivu and I looked her up and sure enough she is through Dad Bongo. All those females are really, really great mothers, except probably Frala, Shinda's mom and have the habit of holding their ear. Thanks for the great video.
So precious. I absolutely love all of the great apes but I'm particularly fond of gorillas. I follow a small gorilla family on YT. There are a few videos posted every day by both the zoo and guests. Look for Kyoto Zoo gorillas on YT if you want to check them out. There is a little gorilla too. He just turned 3.
Bibi is such a relaxed mum. She s handling little Tilla like a pro. Tilla will learn a lot from her. Sango and Bibi have a relaxed relationship, too.
