Awesome. I am new to working with computers in this way, I typed in alias and I got exactly what you got. Initially I was working with the older command prompt and getting a lot of error messages - which was frustrating. I have since downloaded a powershell emulator which is working, and following along with your tutorial. Thanks, I now have the confidence to continue.
also funny thing is the non admin one has too big letters, has tabs like browsers also can't delete system files(probaly), so i just use admin one cus its same as w10 one
Thank you !for making a strIght forward simple basic tutorial for this ! Taking Coursera course ,this makes it all so simple and i 'm actually excited to try this now

I have been trying to run "npm run watch" it doesn't open the server, tried new local host, uninstalled and installed all the modules, edited my Js files according to directions and place in appropriate directory but to no avail. I'm so frustrated. I need some help
thank you for teaching me how to use powershell and basic powershell commands but there are some commands that i copied for practice don't work when pressed and turn red and the white one is when finished, the color is white see you again in the next content
Linux Bash > Powershell Powershell is just trying to be cool like the linux terminal (which if you're working in IT is most likely what you will be using and NOT powershell). So yeah might as well just learn 1 command which works for both *thumbs up* The only exception is if you start working for a Microsoft focused company or one which uses Azure a lot, in which case... yeah better learn the ACTUAL powershell stuff :P
I tried listening to you but the more pompous you got the more annoyed I got And just so you know your terminal you're praising... guess who its Daddy is.......... later
Gee CyberForge, if you are producing a video for beginners shouldn't you start from the beginning? Why didn't you start by tell us how to navigate to the PowerShell instead of assuming that we already know how to access powershell??!!
I’m taking up a computer program in college and I was curious how this worked I’m glad that I checked this out
How is your classes going? Any Tips you can give me I am new. I am learning Python career wise and for fun powershell and linux.

Glad it helped! The command line can be a bit overwhelming at first but you soon grow to love it.
Great Video!! Simple and helpful to get familiar with commands in Windows and Linux. Thank you for creating it.
Glad it helped :)
ls -h now works on windows 11, also interestingly, when you press windows key + X it now called Terminal and Terminal (Admin) :)
also funny thing is the non admin one has too big letters, has tabs like browsers also can't delete system files(probaly), so i just use admin one cus its same as w10 one

I found that the Coursera course 3 power users a not very helpful at all. This video I learned more in 4 minutes than in the entire course.
windows, lets not consider how notorious bill is, is superb OS build from zero and stand alone not branching from unix system.
I am grateful for your tutorial

I would highly recommend using Windows Powershell ISE. I always prefer it over than just using the terminal
How similar is working in Powershell to Linux Ubuntu?
The commands in Powershell are similar... But the Linux/BASH terminal is much better and easier to use in my experience :)
Your keyboard souds so good, what is it !?
Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, very nice for coding.
in my opinion you can improve on the classics :D I like Cheese too :D also too this works just fine on Windows 11 too
Cls could also be used to clear
thank you for teaching me how to use powershell and basic powershell commands but there are some commands that i copied for practice don't work when pressed and turn red

What is the octal value of -r--r------?
It was good and comprehensive.
Treating Powershell as a stupid *nix terminal. I like it😅
Using ls and echo is savage. I also like the parts that show the useful cmdlets that do stuff that a default bash can't do
Linux Bash > Powershell

If you can’t figure out how to open PowerShell in Windows, then you are well below the basics and in the wrong field. Can’t be baby fed everything.
u can just search powershell in windows button and it will be there then u can make shortcut
Brother man is this a joke
he did tell you in the first 3 minutes....
Thanks
subscribed and like for the knowledge. thank you.
