At 42:50 or so you should have sacced your chumpblocker with yawgmoth to remove the unblocked token. Same Life Total change but less tokens for your opponent.
I think double brain maggot (with phant image) in game 2 against that green deck (around 37 minutes) would have been an interesting play instead of putting yourself at mercy of the zenith
Awesome to see some of the new cards in action. Yawgmoth in particular seems sweet in cube. Also, thank you for uploading a video which is not a re-upload of a stream, and in which you don't draft every blue card!
At 1:15:00 I think the opponent was trying to play around you drawing a counterspell. Whether or not that was correct is up for debate, but I'm guessing they did it on purpose in response to the draw.
I liked the cavalier, more then i thought i would, but you do need to build around it or have the deck to play it (this deck was sort of perfect for it with all the ETB two-drops or just etb. value low powered creatures)... as sacking a creature just to take out one doesn't always feel great esp. when behind on board ... but if the deck is right, taking out a creature by sacking some chumpblocker beats chumping with it for sure!
Just in Vraska's crew there were at least 3 races, not counting gorgon, so I guess the art just represents one random crewmenber aboard the Belligerent
LSV is recording a video and round 1 OPP still goes 10 minutes behind in time. Wizard's inability to enforce slow play rules is the greatest flaw of the game.
@@notednuance Something like "snappy" "young peezy" things like that I hear a lot but "erino" is something I hear from LSV. Not saying nobody else says it but at least the people I've been around never say that (at least with me around)
Yeah, not delving with murderous cut for the full amount even tho its totally free was a classic beginners mistake, nice plays nonetheless! Like to see more videos from this lsv in the future. Welcome to cfb!
I'm a simple man, I see LSV, I click. Personally, I would like it if you added a webcam so we can see your reaction/face in general. Thanks for the upload
@@Khazuki_ It's not only about the average, you must consider the variance. This deck has 8 cards with 4 cmc or greater (that's 3 with 4 cmc and 5 with 5 cmc), that's a whole 20% of the deck! Don't weight too much into lands costing 0 while 17 lands feels like almost half of the deck when you factor solemn and the fetchlands it actually shifts between 42.5% and 35%, not that close to half (in limited, deck thinning does come into play a lot more). All I'm saying is this deck is far from the "low to the ground blue black" LSV had in mind when he second picked Bob.
@@pairot01 No, the average is the most important factor for Bob. If you hit one of your 5 drops, you take 5. So what? That's not gonna kill you out of nowhere, it's not like he's playing Emrakul or anything. Bob is excellent in this deck.
@@utterlyj1277 Let's do some math then. Let's assume you have a constant 20% chance to hit a 4+ cmc card for simplicity. That means that the chance of hitting 2 of those cards in a row is 1/25, that's better odds than drawing any exact spell in a natural draw step. Now let's add a 3rd trigger, you have a 10.4% chance of hitting at least 2 of those cards with the third one being any card (including a third of those), that's anywhere between 8 and 15 damage, I estimate the average to be a little below 12. Being aware of the lesser probable cases is key in magic, that's what let's you steal games you have less than 1% chance of winning by playing to your outs and it helps to choose the correct play when balancing consistency and explosivity.
Big daddy Bolas is real bad unfortunately, just too expensive for what it does. Wish they still had 7 mana Bolas from Hour of Devastation in the Cube, that card was legit.
Round 1: 15:31
Round 2: 46:44
Round 3: 01:19:43
Sometimes I like it when you fine fellows at CFB upload a non-stream capture of a draft video. Props. Thank you.
Alexa, what is the most LSV phrase?
9:08: "I don't think cutting blue is where I want to be"
1:19:09 avalanche riders looks sweet as a black card!
"...at some point these squirrels are going to kill me, I suppose..."
- LSV (35:57)
Priceless
that pass on the fractured identity hurt my soul
Yes LSV, you beautiful man. This is just what I wanted to see.
Next time they bring vintage cube you need to build up a cache of them to upload during the dry months.
Just watch this one over and over, since Blue or Blue/Black are his typical drafts.
OMG Luis passed Fractured Identity. Sure it wasn't in his colors, but in a lot of cases he would just take it and make it work
"Ooh I get a lunch break"
-LSV 2019
“At some point the squirrels are gonna kill me.” -LSV
My dog feels the same way man
What is LSV's favorite suffix?
-ino
"Sneak Attack, why are they using this art... abomination." -LSV speaking to my soul.
“So basically I can pay 4 mana to draw a card... sounds good to me!” - this why LSV plays blue
That cavalier was pretty good this draft
i see lsv, i click
Dark confidant plus griselbrand is a sweet combo - lsv
When you passed up the Godless Shrine a second time in p3 for Hippie...which you immediately put in the sideboard...it hurt.
we did get to see Smiting Helix off the bench in round 3
The match at 48 is a great lesson for who thinks to have won and cast a dangerous Armageddon hahaha
1:07:40 what about attacking and using the K command to return a creature to your hand instead?
Legacy Cube Draft!? LSV!? And he gets to go on a lunch break!?
It's the TRIFECTA!

yep misplay

also my thought
I've never loved someone I've never met as much as I love LSV. I snap click any notification I get from CFB that says Draft and LSV in it!

i just want to see him draft some kind of green or white smash deck for once...

Red looked fairly open
I ‘ m a Bolsa do Infinito player. Thanks for video .
Great content
Why aren't those Pirates human tho
If I had to guess, probably because there were like five races getting in on the Pirate action on Ixalan.
Just in Vraska's crew there were at least 3 races, not counting gorgon, so I guess the art just represents one random crewmenber aboard the Belligerent
Dark Confidant and Griselbrand is a great combo, the lifelink on Griselbrand lets you regain the life you lose drawing cards off of the Confidant!
I pray this isnt a serious comment
It doesn’t even matter if he makes the cut or does anything - it’s just endlessly cool that you took Yawgmoth as a legit card.

makeshift mannequin, entomb, grisseldaddy, sneak atack.... could have had a sick reanimator package.
LSV + Cubedraft =
LSV and cube? Non-VOD? Sweeeet
LSV loves ending words in "rino" eg blockerino hex drinkerino murderous cutterino. I think we found out his catchphrase
I think its actually just common among magic players. I hear a bunch of them adding the "erino" to things.

@@Miracle-lg7fr well a fair bit of other magic content creators certainly Caleb D comes to mind... but maybe they're all just influenced by LSV
