One of the most iconic parts of the Kim Possible show was Ron Stoppable's arc. Not just romantically with Kim, but the fact that over time he actually develops into a competent fighter capable of holding his own against some of the most dangerous enemies in the series. And at the end, he becomes singularly more powerful than even Kim herself for the sake of protecting her.

Also Evil Ron was the first true sign of how insanely skilled he could be when he stopped getting in his own way mentally.

That ending where he went full monke power was such a king moment in my childhood! Ron was the GOAT for nerd boys everywhere.
The other thing about Evil Ron is that he is one of the few people who scared Shego, even when he turns a second time she is weary of him when that happens.
I also always respected his confidence and bravery to go in anyway and help anyway he can as a coward AND a bumbling fool. That takes an insane amount of guts, and it's why I always liked and admired him before his growth.

Kim Possible is one of my favorite childhood shows! I always got excited to watch the show, and Dr Drakken was the highlight for me. I loved him as a villain. Good times!
Plus they gave us some good closure for his character at the end. He actually became recognized for his accomplishments and that's all he ever needed.

This show gave me the exclamation I got from Batman TAS. Same good old classic vibes, funny cartoon plot with some lessons, and good character design.
I've always considered Kim's interactions with her various friendly contacts to be the best kind of interaction. Genuine humanity from genuine people. A kind of connection that people in societies all across the world seem to be losing lately.
Felix Renton is one of the best friends you can wish for another.
I never thought about it until you brought it up but Kim Possible, Totally Spies, and seeing Starfire & Raven from Teen Titans definitely made me feel as a young girl that kicking butt and saving the world was something even I could do. The "stand up for yourself, your friends, and justice" plots never get old in general, but tackling the femininity of it can be difficult. This show has always deserved all of my attention and my little middle school self SCREECHED when Kim & Ron FINALLY became a thing.

What made you start to like the show?
@@RandomSkyeRoses It may sound silly, but simply giving the show another chance. I was only 10 when the show first came out so it was probably a really stupid reason as to why I hated it. The halfway point was when I gave the show the second chance and ended up liking it, and towards its end was when I would religiously watch the reruns.

One thing that always drew me to the show was how well Kim is animated in every scene, especially after Season 1. It's easy to fixate on her fight choreography, but her facial expressions, mannerisms, and overall body language is so detailed and precise. She just felt more believable and alive than other animated teenagers, and it's complimented wonderfully by a dynamic performance by Christy Carlson Romano.
Jordan, what you felt with Shego and Raven is the same I felt with Kim Possible and Starfire, so I totally understand you. Great video as always!

Kim Possible, together with American Dragon, was my absolute fav growing up. I still am 1000% sure that both Kim and Shego are the reasons why I like green eyed Gingers and Goth Girls lol. I'd absolutely love to see a new season!
Kim Possible is at the very top of the list when it comes to favorite kids shows, and that says A LOT because I grew up during a time where there were endless amounts of great kids shows. I was absolutely enamored though. I had a little stuffed Rufus toy too. I don't know whatever happened to the little guy, but yeah. Huge fan.
Also Stephen Silver was a huge inspiration to me. He's one of a few artists who inspired me to get into character design.
Somewhere in my collection I have some self portraits I did of myself as a teen.
Anyway, time for grandpa to stop before he gets carried away again.😭😂
I would love to see a spin off series about Shego's personal life outside of being a villain
I mean the bits where we see her as really good teacher are amazing. The shego spinoff of her alternative life would be fun too.
On Christy Romano's youtube channel is a table read of a brand new scene for Kim Possible written by the creators and read by the main 4 (Kim, Ron, Drakken, and Shego) and it's amazing! The Humor is on point and feels like the series never left while updating it to what's relevant today
Kim Possible is iconic. She’s one of my favorite female characters in all of fiction she’s tough, sweet, hilarious, and smart. Ron & Rufus are great characters too funny & unque in there own way. I also enjoy Drakken & Shego as the main villains. the animation is also great. I also freaking fell in love with the Naco 🔥
Kim Possible came out during my sophomore year of high school, but I didn't see any of it until my freshman year of college. It became one of my favorite shows.
I always loved the dynamic Kim and Ron had in their romantic relationship. I'm someone who has an EXTREMELY low tolerance for insipid romantic subplots where the characters have no chill and are constantly in turmoil because both parties are too self absorbed to actually communicate. It's also really jarring to have gone from rewatching Total Drama, where all of the cannon pairings SUCK, to here where they're cute and compatible.
Also, rev membering that Kim Possible is 20 years old is so mind numbing to me. It has a timeless feel to it so to realize it started the year after I was born is WILD.

I'm a guy, and I watched this show as a kid. But I only ever watched it if nobody else was around, afraid my parents, siblings, or friends would tease me about watching a "girl's show". The way things have changed over time, where I don't have to feel like I'm not allowed to like something because of dumb reasons.
Kim Possible, Totally Spies, and Power Puff Girls were shows I loved to death but had to keep secret from all my guy friends.
That was me with Winx Club. Then again I never talked to my guy friends about TV shows of any kind.

This show is amazing, I like the humor, animation, and the characters. Kim’s a great protagonist and Ron is good as her sidekick. There maybe a few bad episodes but there are few and far between. In additions THIS show handled shipping very well, it’s not like other so many shows where the two leads end up together. Here they took their time, hinted at, and then confirmed that they liked each other liked that. They got together before the final season (I KNOW that “So the Drama” was supposed to be the finale) and when they got together, they didn’t waste time in saying on of them felt “unworthy” of the other, they were happy to be with each other and so were the fans.
She is an icon, a legend, she is the moment.

Kim Possible is absolutely legend. It's the kind of show that deserves to be remembered for all of posterity and seen by modern kids who weren't even born yet when it initially came out.
I first saw the show when it aired normally and rewatched it on Disney+ and let me just say, it holds up. It's action-packed and extremely funny. One there own, those features are uncommon but together, they are an absolute rarity! Animated shows with good, consistent action are not common in the modern tv landscape and neither are hilarious animated shows. But Kim Possible has both and that makes it immensely unique and entertaining.
Everyone remembers Kim Possible it's true, but I don't think it's as appreciated as other Disney classics like, say, Phineas and Ferb. And to be clear, I *love* Phineas and Ferb, my only point is that I believe Kim Possible is also worthy of just nostalgia and recognition. Really hope modern kids discover Kim Possible on streaming and give it the resurgence of popularity it deserves.

I find it funny that Ron shares his voice with Terry McGinnis from Batman Beyond while Drakken is Bender from Futurama
Though I watched the Latin Spanish dub and in that version Kim shares his voice with Violet from The Incredibles, Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars and Kagome Higurashi from Inuyasha, while Ron shares his voice with Natsu from Fairy Tail, Sid from Toy Story and the title character in Inuyasha
In fact, in an interview with Ron's Mexican voice actor, Enzo Fortuny, he mentioned Ron is his favorite character

As a German, I can confirm that KP was very popular. Was aired on three different channels. Disney Channel, Disney XD & a german channel called Super RTL.
Fun times. McDonalds even gave out a DVD with three episodes. v fun. loved the show
I was a big fan of KP back in the day. I remember watching and enjoying the first episode when it dropped. Good show I would watch with my mom. 21 years later I'm still down to watch an episode continuation.
this might be a hot take but i was a huuuge fan of kim possible as a kid and when i watched the premiere of So the Drama i was not down with Kim & Ron getting together. i loved them as friends and young me thought it was so cool to see a girl and guy as best friends with no romantic feelings. i get why it happened and i’m not that pressed about it. but i do think the early seasons built a really cool platonic love between Kim and Ron.
I feel like they could have still succeeded at the So the Drama movie ending with Ron and Kim going to the dance as friends because they both knew that they would always be friends and have each others back no matter what. Including going to the corny dance as friends since they wouldn't have been able to have time to find a date. Then the rest of the season still could have worked.

@@snowfloofcathug I personally shipped Shego and Kim. However, I also shipped Ron and Yori, that ninja girl (I thought they made a better and more cute couple than Ron and Kim. The only problem with shipping Shego and Kim in the actual show would be the age issue. Kim would still have been a minor until her senior year and that depends on if she is 17 or 18 upon graduating. So, if there ever was plans for that, they probably couldn't do it. Also, I didn't like them putting Drakken and Shego together in the end; it didn't feel right.
i would ABSOLUTELY be into a continuation. i would also be into a team go spin-off that shows us exactly how shego went from a superhero to a aspiring teacher to a villain sidekick cause there is no way in hell it was because she "just loved the evil" or that her brothers were SO annoying that they MADE her evil. there is something more to it and i demand to know what that is.

I think I remember reading a story about Kim and Ron's kids, Twin girls being Possible-Stoppable and like anyone other kids of famous parents' people except a lot out of them, but their family just loves them all the same. It also had She-go and Drakens implied son be the villain/ evil principle.
I remember reading a post saying that Ron's the type of guy to take Kim's name if they got married. And of he wasn't Jewish, I could say I don't blame them for the theory lol.
I love Kim Possible so deeply. My mother also always said that she liked for us to have a show like Kim Possible. She always liked watching along and felt we gained a lot by watching it. :)
I always felt that a spin off about Ron's younger sister Hana felt like a logical next step. Especially as the premise is fairly easy to set up with the pre-established lore surrounding her and the timeline making her now a similar age to Kim and Ron's ages at the beginning of the original show.
I always loved how stylized the character designs were specially Kim with her cargo pants

I remember this show because I had the first Spy Kids movie on VHS & they had a preview for Kim Possible. From the second it showed Kim dodging lasers to the line *"KIM POSSIBLE SHE CAN DO ANYTHING!* Kim: except get to school on time" I was hooked! Combine this with Totally Spies and you got my interest in seeing kickass normal female heroes. Also shame that before this Nickelodeon shot down Constant Payne, I mean we could have had a three way dance between the three biggest animation networks featuring kickass female leads. Also anyone ever notice how much crossover fanfiction is out there combining Kim Possible & Danny Phantom, would've been really interesting to see in reality all things considered

Kim Possible is one of my childhood favourites! I was pleasantly surprised how well the show worked when Kim & Ron got together & how it didn't negatively impact the show in any way.

I was a big fan of this show as a kid and actually saw the finale premiere in 2007, so many years ago its wild how long its been. gotta rewatch this sometime soon!
This was one of my favourite shows as a teenager, especially at a time where I'd mostly watch anime or more live-action series and fewer cartoons because I was growing up. Shego was also one of my favourite TV villains (loved her dynamic with Dr. Drakken) and cartoon crushes. I was at first confused when I saw that final arc with Shego and Drakken getting together, but it was also kind heartwarming. One of my favourite episodes revolved around Shego becoming good by accident and being like an older sister for Kim. I also loved how she was the only one to realize that Kim + Ron = excellent team and used time travel to split them up and take over the world. The surprise twist that Future Shego was the reason for that and was the big bad instead of Drakken was delightful.
I still remember many of the witty lines from this show. Especially Ron's. Will Friedle's deliver of many of them was just excellent and hilarious.
Also, I remember how this show breaking the 65-episode limit most Disney shows used to be held to was a _huge_ deal back then.

Kim Possible gave me a huge of nostalgia. I had watched many episode since I was very young even before I became obsessed with Ben-10 golden age. Each of episodes are unqiue with different missions, characters, and ideas. Action scenes and drama story are balanced perfectly with well-crafted elements. I was lucky I had catched up the supposedly final episode when Kim and Ron had danced and kissed together. This conclusion ending scene was so sweet and satisfying I believe it is one of the cartoon best endings. Yet there are more episodes to watch afterwards.
Duuude the last season GOLD 🙌. Nobody expected that season bit everybody wanted and it was perfect 👌 not only is super rare on it’s own kind, by being a kids show showing the dynamic of a relationship between the main character and her best friend, but because of all this time the show had to mature a relationship like that the new love dynamic between Kim and Ron flows so naturally is priceless 🙌
My absolute favourite show and it's one that left an impact on me as a kid. And yeah it was nice to have a few female led hero shows that don't have the characters shy away from being feminine. Also I still have my text tone as the communicator.
I remember watching this show as a kid and well it was amazing also disney actually made a Kim possible website where you can actually message the characters and they'll reply back but sadly it was shutdown
I may well watch this show from beginning to end over and over. So many elements to love. One of my favorites was the bond between Ron and Rufus. (Rufus tended to be more popular among others, yet he still looked up to Ron as his master/best bud.)
I always loved the cooking class/club episode, because it showed that Kim is not perfect in everything she does, she is determined and works hard in everything she tries, but she also gets annoyed and impatient that she can't do something that comes easily to Ron, but she doesn't hate him for it, she just gets sad and annoyed she doesn't have as much time with her est friend
That's the important distinction here. She doesn't hate Ron for who he is or what he does. When she can't do something he can, she blames herself never him. And that's why they work really well as a couple. Even as friends they had such a healthy and non toxic relationship.
It generally inthe show when he is shown comptent in more creative ways and being emotional smart nerally, while being also insecure, and still gets chances to really shine and why they really fill in for each other. So even as friends they are just great an healthy partnr, why i never thought they needed romance, as that dynamic one rare is rare, and ron is actually really shown to be amazing while being very human and a dude that is also a softie, that is shown to be rally competent but insecure,
and that h uses social competence to be th best too, while she is a bit a hardass. They really are both well done but together, amazing.

The way I feel about Kim Possible is the way I feel about Adventure Time and Regular Show. Down the road would we ever want to see someone try to pick these story lines back up and continue them. Not really... these shows are so amazing where they stand in time that I don't want to someone try to reboot them or spin off of them I want to see a new take on it
Yeah, & Kim's slang really dates the hell out of it, but is so connected to the character itself, I don't really know how one would get around that.
This show was towards the tail end of me watching cartoons, but I remember what I did watch and really enjoying it. I also still see cosplays of the characters at cons so it definitely has some staying power.
One of my favourite parts of Kim Possible is the fact that in Disney Heroes Battle Mode a mobile game featuring 200+ Disney characters there are 6 Kim Possible characters which include: Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable & Rufus, Dr. Drakken, Shego, Duff Killigan, and Monkey Fist!
When I grew up I realised just how good of a role model Kim Possible was for me. I am so lucky to be born in a time where I had the opportunity to have this show influence me as a person. I like that she is a strong and bad ass character, but is also allowed to enjoy traditionally girly things, showing that those traditionally girly things does not influence how strong you are as a person. Usually when you have a "strong female lead" they aren't allowed to enjoy girly things because that is weakness. But not here. She is one of the reasons I wanted to be a princess ninja spy cuz princesses are pretty and cute and ninjas and spies are cool and kick ass. That was what I no joke wanted to be when I was younger XD
I always wanted Kim and Perry to meet each other which, by extension, gives Drakken and Shego the chance to meet Doofenshmirtz and Vanessa to meet.

I feel like Kim Possible was one of the best examples of a female lead in media, because she was still allowed to be flawed and be herself, rather than be a soapbox for writers too focused on the "message".
Shows like Kim Possible and other big Disney channel shows I completely missed out on because we don’t have cable back then and I was more of a Cartoon Network fan, now all these years later I have a strong feeling of wanting to finally watch this

Man, the tension and stress as we awaited and finally achieved the Movie really WAS insane. You just felt so much from YEARS of buildup and yearning for closure, that the movie was genuinely an emotional rollercoaster. It was all just so INTENSE, it really didn't hit the same if you hadn't been watching it around the time of its initial release. I didn't want see much of season 4, but I like how it wrapped up to graduation. That feels right, and a great way to close things off.
The Swamp Thing episode traumatized me, honestly. Still freaks me out.
I don't remember watching that origin episode, but I remember the game. Was obsessed with it, and I want to play it again. I remember the stress, lol. I always got stuck on the Monkey level!

I love how the show doesn't try to deliver "females are discriminated", but simply present Kim as a strong and likeable character with human weakness of a girl at that age.

petition to have Jordan Fringe cover The Future Is Wild (2007) animated series. based off of a documentary that speculated what flora and fauna would exist on earth millennia from now, the series follows a group of teens bouncing through time in an attempt to solve an impending ice age, finding crazy plants and animals along the way.

And man i totally forgot there was a movie...what the hell I should rewatch it and the whole Ron and Kim couple stuff i always thought it was the right choice.

This is a very special show and i'm satisfied to see it, Disney really did a good job on keeping it alive for a while.
I would like to see a reboot more than a new season or anything but with people that knows the show and what it was about and i totally forgot that there was a live action movie (and have no interest into watching it).

Kim possible is a timeless show. I feel like it ages beautifully and this would be something I would let my kids watch some day.
It would be one thing that'd make me excited to be a dad: one day getting the chance to show my kid(s) this awesome show that I loved when I was a kid.

I watched it through the many dvds and the movie dvd as well, and I really loved it especially with it being on Disney + and everything

Crazy how you just did another video on another show that was HUGELY popular in my Computer Animation College when I was there between late 2007 to around mid 2010 or so. Now I am 🧐 to see what other shows from 2000 & beyond that I remember and/or popular from just before I graduated high school to when I went off to college. Maybe one day you can give Mission Hill some ❤️. Definitely underrated and needs more.

Growing up I loved Kim possible. Christy Carlson was and is still my fav human. I sketched k.p. all the time. Still love it to this day and I'm now in my 30's. Lol.
I’d argue that Draken and his partner Shego, where just as deep characters, making them excellent nemesis’ for Kim. Draken is a nerdy, college drop out that got picked on and felt unappreciated, thus giving him a big ego, feeling his potential infinite, when he often failed in his plans for world domination due to his own shortcomings, while Shego was a better villain than Draken, more confident and efficient, yet she often worked most with Draken because, as people and villains, they worked well together. Shego even did succeed where Draken failed: dominate the world as a villainous dictator. The writing even, at times, hinted that Shego and Draken were a thing, yet she’d often deny it. Though most viewers believed she secretly has feelings for the mad doctor buried deep down. With how often they bicker like a old married couple, it’s not hard to imagine them actually getting together in the future. Though, as professional villains, that’d no doubt cause complications mixing work with personal lives. I always liked the implication Shego and Draken, would/could be a couple. Even if not, they here hilarious together on screen!
I still have the Kim possible beep text tone and whenever it goes off in public, people always smile and look around

I'll occasionally think about the fourth season Valentines day episode where Ron's like "Oh, Valentines day? Nah, I don't celebrate. See, I never had a girlfriend on Valentines..." Pauses. Looks at Kim. Kim cocks an eyebrow. "Holy Cannoli, I have a girlfriend on Valentines Day!" and chuckle to myself. The bits here and there of them figuring out the new dynamic to their relationship in season four was fun.
Plus, Shego, great villain with a fun background story. Both the whole "she used to be a hero on a team with her brothers before going bad" thing and the fact it's canon she has a degree in child development.
Kim’s a strong female lead because she’s written as a strong lead who happens who a teenage girl. The very premise flips stereotypes on their head, a cheerleader who works as a superhero because being a cheerleader gives her the athleticism to meet villains in combat. Her partnership with Ron is also very effective because they cover each other’s weaknesses. Ron is able to navigate some situations better than Kim, like when she can’t see someone beyond their wheelchair and keeps digging herself into a hole whereas Ron sees the guy as a person. Indeed, Ron, and Rufus, often prove the key factor in defeating villain schemes because he’s overlooked by them (Monkey Fist is the only recurring villain to consistently remember his name!).
I also liked how Monkey Fist became Ron's arch nemesis. Kim seemed to struggle with him while Ron managed to come out on top. And, unlike Monkey Fist, he managed to be able to use more of that power than MF. Also, the times where Ron got turned evil was funny and exciting to watch.
