"This is my family. I found it all on my own. It's little and broken. But Still good, yea still good." I'm a HUGE fan of the Lilo and Stitch movies, tv show and yes even the anime :) Stitch is and always will be my favorite character. I met him twice at Disneyland and once at Disneyworld and hoping to meet him again at Disneyworld this November. I miss my cute and fluffy alien hugs ^-^
I've actually been waiting for this show on this channel. This show truly was my childhood. As for the live action movie I'm super nervous but at the same time I have my hopes up thinking "there is no way they would mess up lilo and stitch"
I loved Lilo and Stitch, movie 1 and show. Watched it a lot as a kid. I even loved the crossover episodes, was interesting to bring in other Disney shows that were running at the time. A few months ago I got new glasses and was happy to have A Stitch lens cloth, or whatever its called, that came with it. Brought back memories.
Also Mr. Jameson in this show was voiced by Bryan Cranston. And to think that Gravity Falls (which had Alfred Molina, John Oliver, Coolio, and especially Nathan Filion and Nick Offerman), Penn Zero (Sigourney Weaver, etc.), Phineas and Ferb (Elizabeth Banks, Ben Stiller, Sandra Oh, Cloris Leachman, Simon Pegg (again), Danny Trejo, Tina Fey, etc.), Randy Cunningham (Simon Pegg, John Oliver, etc.), and DuckTales 2017 (David Tennant, Lin Manuel Miranda, Doug Jones, Selma Blair, Giancarlo Esposito, etc.) were the only Disney animated series to utilize A-List celebrity talent involved in their animated shows.
I watched the heck out of this as a kid. It was kinda like Hawaiian Pokémon before Gen 7 existed. A very cool take on the monster of the week format. I always wondered what the other experiments we didn't get to see look like.
That series was how I got introduced to Lilo and Stitch… as well as my #2 “childhood nemesis,” Gantu, who was unfortunately outranked by a freaking sound system logo known as “THX” Also, Gantu never actually scared me as a kid, unlike the infamous THX logo. I just see him as a “big bully” in my imaginary adventures with Lilo and Stitch. The awkward part was years later when I went to Disney World for a high school field trip. I got to experience “Stitch’s Great Escape” thanks to my classmates who dragged me into it… and I realized that I was “temporarily working with Gantu.” It was really awkward to me, but I remained quiet about that and assumed Gantu “didn’t notice my presence because I grew up” Memories of my childhood imaginations are so much fun
I'm always glad to see such a fun throw back to shows I enjoyed as a kid presented in these awesome video essays. Thanks Jordan. Keep up the awesome work.
Rob Paulsen has so many voices, but you can usually tell it's him. This is something i really love about dedicated voice actors. Jim Cummings, (unless it's Pooh), Grey De Lisle, Tom Kenny, Tress McNeill, and Mel Blanc also have this quality. Granted, it's nice there are more kinds of VAs now, but I still hope we don't completely lose this.
7:08 Okay THAT was awesome editing right there!! I dont know how you knew when an ad would appear on your video while editing, but it matched up perfectly! The old nostalgic Disney Channel bumpers made watching a TH-cam ad so much more tolerable!
A log of the clips you have actually rang bells for me. I was 10 when the series came out - absolutely love this series and now once I finish Seinfeld, definitely going back to watch Lilo & Stitch!
my little brother and i used to love watching this and the timon and pumba show together alongside angry beavers. You knocking it outta the park with nostalgia and the selections 🤞🏾
God I watched the living crap of this series as a kid. Watched it almost every day when it was on TV and seeing it crossover with other shows I watched too was mind-blowing. This series is just so darn likeable and just cozy to watch. It's been years since I've watched it. Gotta rewatch it on Disney+ soon.
My siblings and me LOVED this show. We used to watch it on TH-cam when we were children and years later came back to watch it again on Disney+. The end battle with all experiments fighting was the most epic scene ever back then.
Definitely remember this show and watching it in my early teen years, loved the movies and enjoyed the series that came to be. I was so hyped to see which cousin of Stitch we could see and what their unique little powers and talents, then a experiments either finding a new home or they don't due circumstances. I have so many favorites, Frenchfry, Slushy and so many more!❤️ Also used to enjoy many other childhood shows like Dragon Tales, Oswald The Blue Octopus , Kipper The Dog, Little Bear and Wonder Pets. Watching Lilo And Stitch Series gave that connection back of watching cartoons as a kid. 📺💕
17:49 randomly appreciating that they don't step on each other's toes in context/genre; Recess and Proud Family are both relatively mundane, Kim Possible is super heroes/tech but never really deals with aliens or the supernatural, and Jake Long is almost purely supernatural, where as Lilo and Stitch is largely Sci Fi/Galactic. Lack of overlap is nice.
Honestly I liked the series and was a fan of the little b plots Jumba and Pleakley got into, I loved their bantered and made me wish they got their own solo episode where Lilo and Stitch are unavailable to go after an experiments so then Jumba and Pleakley have to go after the experiment. Also fun fact, the experiment 062 French fry is the only experiment Nani had captured herself in the whole series.
Yes.. I do remember, God I loved it so much. One of the very. Very best Disney had to offer. I don't know if I should thank you, or wonder how you can remember such old, gold, and often obscure shows from my childhood. Actually I do. Thank you for jolting back our memories and remind us of all these cartoons and shows we used to love when we were kids.
I unironically enjoy every Lilo & Stitch movie (some more than others, but still they're great). I once spent a whole day binge-watching them all, and I enjoyed the TV show too but haven't seen it in 12 years
This was my favorite series on ABC every Saturday back in the day...Nostalgic memories. I always followed it and the fandom as a kid. I still love it. Thank you for this man.
Thank you for reminding me how much I love this franchise. I’d like to add, another great piece of content is the video game they released around the same time as the original movie. For anyone who doesn’t know, it’s called Stitch: Experiment 626, and it followed Stitch as he ran around the galaxy collecting DNA for Jumba to create more experiments. It was a great piece of content that gave some backstory and expanded the universe before we knew we’d be getting more movies and a TV series. Don’t know if the game’s plot is canon, but it was still a fun story.
I remember getting a DVD of the Penguins of Madagascar series and being super shocked that it had a special (Dr. Blowhole) that was set to premiere on Nick weeks later, lol
I've been going through a hyper fixation of Lilo & Stitch lately. It's a great series. Sadly as a kid I wasn't into it, but as an adult I love it. I'm not expecting a whole lot from the live action, but it might still end up being fun and will pull more kids into the franchise. Stitch merchandise already sells well so I imagine it'll skyrocket once a trailer drops.
Now we’re talking. The one franchise that inspired me to become an animator and character designer. The experiments were 100% the best part of the franchise.
@@alfredhinton8792 That’s right, mate. I’ve seen them all. Plus, I agree. I’d kill for all the experiments to be seen, even if it’s in the form of the Cousins log book.
I absolutely loved the Sandwich Stacker game and would love to see it again in a different format. Maybe a console compilation of different flash games in an attempt to preserve them for future generations
This was the show that sparked my love of writing and art back in the 2000's. Without it, I would never have gotten into art or become the artist I am today.
Lilo and Stitch, and you advertise SPECTROBES?! I feel like I've de-aged 12 years!!!!! Man I'll have to go sub to Fringe Gaming!!! Your content has been such a joy since I've started binging a couple weeks ago!
The series is the first Lilo and Stitch content I remember watching. I don't think I watched the original movie before way later. I was a toddler in 2002, so I don't remember it. Lilo and Stitch is probably my favorite Disney franchise of all time, and I'm sure it has taken part in shaping my love for sci-fi.
Thank you for doing this series!! However, as it's my absolute favorite. Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch had a glitch is the Series Setup movie. 1 was them meeting, and Stitch becoming good. 2 was them finding the other pods, releasing Sparky and making them good, and ending with all the other pods falling to Hawaii. The Series happens. And then it all ends with Leroy and Stitch.
Wow, what a trip down memory lane, I used to love this show so much, I even started drawing my own collection of experiments, I think I drew around 30 or 40. It's such a brilliant concept for a show and at the time my parents had forbidden me from watching the Pokémon anime or playing the games so I never made the comparison until I was older, that helped the show feel like a completely new experience for me. The 2000's era of Disney Channel was full of amazing shows: Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Lilo & Stitch, The Empereror's New School, The Legend of Tarzan, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, quite a fun childhood.
So fun fact. The Walt Disney Company found a personal letter from Walt in one of his old deals this year, the summary being he didn't condone remakes or reimaginings of the studios animated films. There was an internal push to honor this, resulting in the cancelation of all upcoming "live action" Disney films based on animated classics, with Pinocchio and the little mermaid planning to be the last of them because they were already in post production. I don't know if this had any effect on the lilo and stitch live action, but change is coming in their film practices
One of my favorite things as a kid was seeing all the fun ways each of the pods came into contact with liquid. Each one even more creative than the last.
The movie Lilo & Stitch was one of the last Disney animated films I saw with my Mum and sister, before becoming a fully grown grumpy teenager. I did enjoy the TV series also, it marks a point in my memories of when I went from child to teenager. I watched the VHS tape of the film we had a lot, having then lost my mum aged 17, the phrase 'ohana' and family meaning nobody gets left behind is something I have never forgotten and still hold onto.
Entire lilo and stitch franchise is great. My sister absolutely loves it. Has so much stitch stuff. One great way we bond and past time was watching all the movies and show. Adorable.
Aww Man, I so remember watching and loving the Lilo & Stitch cartoon series growing up seeing it on toon Disney back in the 2000s days. Mostly because I loved the Lilo and Stitch movie a lot as a kid, also still love it as an adult now. But the cartoon series itself still holds a special place within my childhood, I can still remember a few of the episodes of it here and there although it has been some time since I've last watched it.

Watching Lilo and Stitch and Stitch the Movie, i really didn't expect it to have a tv series. It was always enjoyable to see the other experiments, what they looked like, how their powers worked and on how lilo and stitch would place them where their powers would be helpful.

What do you mean "Favorite live action shows"? They're all animated.
@@SMon42 oops sorry I meant animated I’ll fix it now.
"This is my family. I found it all on my own. It's little and broken. But Still good, yea still good."
I'm a HUGE fan of the Lilo and Stitch movies, tv show and yes even the anime :) Stitch is and always will be my favorite character. I met him twice at Disneyland and once at Disneyworld and hoping to meet him again at Disneyworld this November. I miss my cute and fluffy alien hugs ^-^
That's one of my favorite lines from anything ever
I've actually been waiting for this show on this channel. This show truly was my childhood. As for the live action movie I'm super nervous but at the same time I have my hopes up thinking "there is no way they would mess up lilo and stitch"
I loved Lilo and Stitch, movie 1 and show. Watched it a lot as a kid. I even loved the crossover episodes, was interesting to bring in other Disney shows that were running at the time. A few months ago I got new glasses and was happy to have A Stitch lens cloth, or whatever its called, that came with it. Brought back memories.
what were your thoughts on movie 2 and 3? I loved all of it.
@@Nakia11798 i enjoyed movie 2, not sure if I saw movie 3. I also haven't seen the anime or the Chinese cartoon.
_"Hey Stitch, we need to cook."_
*~ Mr. Jameson*
I watched the heck out of this as a kid. It was kinda like Hawaiian Pokémon before Gen 7 existed. A very cool take on the monster of the week format. I always wondered what the other experiments we didn't get to see look like.
The crossovers this series had means so many things are in the same universe and for that alone this show deserves a 10/10
That series was how I got introduced to Lilo and Stitch… as well as my #2 “childhood nemesis,” Gantu, who was unfortunately outranked by a freaking sound system logo known as “THX”
Also, Gantu never actually scared me as a kid, unlike the infamous THX logo. I just see him as a “big bully” in my imaginary adventures with Lilo and Stitch.
The awkward part was years later when I went to Disney World for a high school field trip. I got to experience “Stitch’s Great Escape” thanks to my classmates who dragged me into it… and I realized that I was “temporarily working with Gantu.”
It was really awkward to me, but I remained quiet about that and assumed Gantu “didn’t notice my presence because I grew up”
Memories of my childhood imaginations are so much fun
I'm always glad to see such a fun throw back to shows I enjoyed as a kid presented in these awesome video essays. Thanks Jordan. Keep up the awesome work.
Rob Paulsen has so many voices, but you can usually tell it's him. This is something i really love about dedicated voice actors. Jim Cummings, (unless it's Pooh), Grey De Lisle, Tom Kenny, Tress McNeill, and Mel Blanc also have this quality. Granted, it's nice there are more kinds of VAs now, but I still hope we don't completely lose this.
Now this show brings back memories! Nice to see you covering it.
Thanks for watching man!
👍😎
One of the best Disney franchises that still holds up imo.
7:08 Okay THAT was awesome editing right there!! I dont know how you knew when an ad would appear on your video while editing, but it matched up perfectly! The old nostalgic Disney Channel bumpers made watching a TH-cam ad so much more tolerable!
I'm almost positive you can place when one plays.
I personally loved all projects branching from Lilo and Stitch. Never heard of Stitch and Ai. Will check it out definitely 😊
A log of the clips you have actually rang bells for me. I was 10 when the series came out - absolutely love this series and now once I finish Seinfeld, definitely going back to watch Lilo & Stitch!
Lilo and Stitch one of my favorite series to watch on Disney Channel when I was little.
my little brother and i used to love watching this and the timon and pumba show together alongside angry beavers. You knocking it outta the park with nostalgia and the selections 🤞🏾
I remember watching this as a kid and loving it. Also it's pretty weird how Disney put more planning into Lilo and Stitch than Star Wars
I loved this show! I remember as a kid being so so excited for each new experiment, I loved the designs and the powers were so cool!
Have you rewatched as of yet. If so does it hold up
My siblings and me LOVED this show. We used to watch it on TH-cam when we were children and years later came back to watch it again on Disney+. The end battle with all experiments fighting was the most epic scene ever back then.
I remember this show. A great way to show off Stitch's other cousins (and Jumba's other experiments). And on another note, learn lessons here as well.
Definitely remember this show and watching it in my early teen years, loved the movies and enjoyed the series that came to be. I was so hyped to see which cousin of Stitch we could see and what their unique little powers and talents, then a experiments either finding a new home or they don't due circumstances. I have so many favorites, Frenchfry, Slushy and so many more!❤️
Also used to enjoy many other childhood shows like Dragon Tales, Oswald The Blue Octopus , Kipper The Dog, Little Bear and Wonder Pets. Watching Lilo And Stitch Series gave that connection back of watching cartoons as a kid. 📺💕
Amazing that this show had 4 well-done crossovers; more than a decade later, Ok KO would take on the same approach with similar success.
I was an adult when Lilo & Stitch came out. But this is still among my favorite animated movies and I love the show.
Love the commercial breaks thing you do. Brings back old memories. Thank you
Honestly I liked the series and was a fan of the little b plots Jumba and Pleakley got into, I loved their bantered and made me wish they got their own solo episode where Lilo and Stitch are unavailable to go after an experiments so then Jumba and Pleakley have to go after the experiment.
Thank YOU for watching!
I unironically enjoy every Lilo & Stitch movie (some more than others, but still they're great). I once spent a whole day binge-watching them all, and I enjoyed the TV show too but haven't seen it in 12 years
The sequals are OK but not as great as one was. But the show was pretty good tho. Which is saying A lot since most Disney sequals can be really bad
This was my favorite series on ABC every Saturday back in the day...Nostalgic memories. I always followed it and the fandom as a kid. I still love it. Thank you for this man.
Lilo and Stitch is my Disney movie.
It’s the one for the weird kids. The ones who didn’t fit in. The ones who often felt left behind and forgotten.
Thanks for delving into the memory hole that is my childhood Saturday morning, it really makes the day just a bit better
Gosh, that incredibly clever transition into and out of the ad... That's it. I'm subscribing.
Now we’re talking. The one franchise that inspired me to become an animator and character designer. The experiments were 100% the best part of the franchise.
They gave all of them names during the credits of Leroy and stitch. I’d kill for a real book of LILO’s cousin log book
@@alfredhinton8792 That’s right, mate. I’ve seen them all. Plus, I agree. I’d kill for all the experiments to be seen, even if it’s in the form of the Cousins log book.
@@Tombola1993 I don’t even need to know their abilities
@@alfredhinton8792 But we still should know who their names and numbers are alongside their respective designs. If that ever fully happens.
Okay the strategically edited ad break got me. Subbed.
LOL WHO DONT REMEMBER THIS SERIES
I absolutely loved the Sandwich Stacker game and would love to see it again in a different format. Maybe a console compilation of different flash games in an attempt to preserve them for future generations
My daughter fell in love with Lilo and Stitch a few years ago. The series is a treasure to us both. Great Vid Jordan!
Appreciate the support! Hope you enjoy the Spectrobes video when it drops on the gaming channel! :D
Thank you for this awesome interview about Lilo and Stitch the series I love Lilo and Stitch the series and I also love the Lilo and Stitch movies !!
STOP. That ad spot actually made me so happy, you don't even know. I felt just like a kid again and wanted to go play the sandwich stacker again.
Lolo and Stitch was one of my little brother's favorite shows. We watched the whole american run together with our mom. Thank you.
20 years later and this franchise is still gold
Thank you for doing this series!!
However, as it's my absolute favorite.
Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch had a glitch is the Series Setup movie.
1 was them meeting, and Stitch becoming good.
2 was them finding the other pods, releasing Sparky and making them good, and ending with all the other pods falling to Hawaii.
The Series happens.
And then it all ends with Leroy and Stitch.
I remember loving this series when I was in middle school. Might have to rewatch it.
So glad you mentioned Sandwich Stacker, that game was the best!
I hope you never stop doing those Carl bits. Your impression of him is hilarious to me.
Great video! Good to see more people talking about the series 👌
Adorable.
I have strong me memories of watching this on Sunday mornings before we went to church. Thank you for confirming my memories as real
I absolutely loved Lilo & Stitch!! I remember getting up and staying up to watch new episodes/re-runs every time that it was on. It’s a super fun show and now I kinda wanna watch it again 😆 also nice Pokémon skateboards!! ❤ they’re adorable and cool 😲
It so unique when they make a crossover episode for this show and I love this show so much. Lilo & Stich The Series forever my favorite show.
Watching Lilo and Stitch and Stitch the Movie, i really didn't expect it to have a tv series. It was always enjoyable to see the other experiments, what they looked like, how their powers worked and on how lilo and stitch would place them where their powers would be helpful.
Jordan thank you❤. I remember when this show debuted I loved it then and still love it today at 32 when I watch it with my kids.
Never clicked on a video so fast.
Lilo & Stitch is my favorite Disney movie and franchise. I've seen the series lik 6 times.
Man, Lilo and Stitch the series was one of my favorite disney shows when i was a little kid. Looking back on this as an adult, it was such an awesome show. 😊
We only had Disney channel at my grandma's house and I remember just waiting around the TV waiting for this to come on. Thanks for the nostalgia!
Also, it might have one of the best theme songs out of any cartoon!
So glad you mentioned the sandwich stacker game. That was the best. I still think about that one fondly to this day
I loved this series, I couldn't wait to get home to watch it. It's nice to see it again and see it does still hold up
