wow I only just found your channel, because i'm interested in powder coating, and it took a lot of working against the algo to find this video haha. I don't know what you got flagged for, but TH-cam doing this to you looks like Munchausens by proxy lol.
The aluminum plates were da sanded with 40 grit. The steel plates were phospate washed only prior to powder coating. The customer specifica;lly asked for no sand blasting for the enviroment the plates are going into. He did not see the value add for the blasting. Yes I do sandblast parts prior to coating when necessary.
I maybe wrong but it looks like there still a fare amount of waisted material ? I thought that powder coating you wouldn't have but very little waist ?
Thanks for the comment! Standard colors I have been using Columbia coatings. Fluorescents I use Prismatic. Haven’t really ventured off from those 2. I do a lot of flat black and really like Columbias Super Matte Black.

What grit are you using to put a tooth on those new plates before you shoot them? Do you not blast?

I’ve been thinking of upgrading guns myself, this was a big help. Thank you. How did you get your PID to stop pulsing?

What brand powder do you typically use? TCI? Prismatic? Very cool setup btw
