Thanks so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it!! I need a lot of creativity to find good backgrounds for each video now, but it's quite fun in all honesty!
Idk where my comment went so here it is. Nice maxtoribe (maxtor and miniscribe mashed into 1 word). Shame about that bad sector tho, and bearings are still decent enougj
this man had alot of windows oses! including XP!!😀 i had alot of copy from windows xp to windows 11. one of them included USB and alot of them were CDs just like yours!
RTM can install on a 40MB drive without issues when using the /ID setup switch which skips the disk space check. Are you suggesting it's not actually running 95 in the video or were you just curious how it managed to fit?
If you make it skip the disk size check with a compact RTM install it can squeeze onto a 40MB drive! It's certainly not a great experience, but it's just nice for the sounds it makes.
Next run Scandisk, lolz. Awesome sounds.
I tend to enjoy the sounds of these slightly more worn bearings!
play in a loop. works better than white noise for sleep at night. 😊
so true
Oh look, a Miniscribe.
I have two with the original Miniscribe badging.
that head lock sound on spindown, *CLACK*
Coolest Maxtor I've ever seen!
@@doomer37 Truly a lovely model!!
I have this exact drive kicking around in the back and I think it too has win 95 on it. forgot how loud they were. lol
Your videos are improving a lot! I liked the idea of the background with hard drives or old items, very cool!!! Great hard drive you get!!

hmmm! 41MB is not enough for Windows 95, it requires 50-55MB, unless it's a slave drive.
