10 years ago kannapolis looked a lot different. All these renovations has been done in the past few years. There even used to be a big pond near cannon mills. The ballpark was just built I think a 1 or 2 years ago. Another tribute to Earnhardt was the old name for the minor league team “Kannapolis Intermediators”
I'm one of the biggest Nascar fans u could ever meet and in 26 years as a fan my 2 favorites racers in Nascar are and always will be Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr I miss the intimadator more than I could put into words
That is awesome to hear you were a Earnhardt fan. Dale Sr was a huge loss for the sport of Nascar and his fans. I often wonder what Dale Jr's career would have looked like if Dale Sr would not have died in that tragic Daytona crash. Thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed walking around the town. I want to go back and watch a baseball game soon. The Disney quote blew me away. I was not expecting to find that at all. But It goes to show Walt Disney inspires people all over the world no matter the size or geographical location. Thank you for watching.
Thank you for the overview! Just a 'small correction'. There is no Wake Forest or UNC-Wilmington on this campus. Duke University has a small presence in the Atrium Health Building and there is no UNC Chapel Hill Building. However, I believe there is a University of North Carolina Building which houses several universities including UNC-CH, NC A&T and NCCU. Building Next door houses NCSU, UNC-G and AppState University. Each university brings a unique research contribution to the campus and are all considered to be premiere universities adding economic and research value to the region. Many thanks again on such a wonderful tour!!
Thank you Leonard for your information. Kannapolis is a beautiful town with a lot of interesting history. Thank you for watching and have a blessed day my friend.

@@HitchHikingYeti I agree. just imagine what he could have done if he survived
@@PoptartMcNuggies I think the sport of NASCAR would be way different if Dale was still around.
