I have been wondering for years why the small engine tubes' haven't built a sprig clutch drill starter attachment. I cringe whenever a drill nearly gets ripped out of their hands starting motors.
That's the old North Brothers Yankee ratcheting mechanism. Stanley bought them out a LONG time ago. The 3 position slide is for right, left, and locked. Irwin and many Chinese knockoff brands use the same design. Shouldn't be hard to find, and they aren't expensive.
I can crack the flywheel. Ask me how I know. Plus you need a one-way bearing off some kind, in his case a ratchet. If not, when the engine starts, it will turn faster than the drill and back the flywheel nut off. All me how I know. 😅
Maybe one day, but it's as simple as welding a round shaft to the ratchet tap thingy and then weld that to a 1/2'' squarre bit to use on a standard socket
I love the fact that we laugh differently depending on witch contry you're from....here (Canada-US) it's HAHAHA , but happy that you enjoy this short video! 😁
why did this not go viral

@Viny B will you make one for me, to start Kawasakii Mojave 250?
Is it dangerous to use an impact wrench instead?
You could shear the flywheel key using an impact gun.
I have an old 1" impact, I'm gonna weld the hammer on it and hopefully I can get it to work
