    Practically no one bothers with removing the little drain plug on the oil filter housing. I never do. If it ain't leaking, its fine. Just go straight to removing the entire housing. Save time.

    HEY !!! NOTE : Filter and plug should be tightened with specific torque ! You could over tighten or strip if not careful !

    Good video helped me a bit, also just something I came across don't over tighten the filter housing mine broke when trying to take it off, the last shop to change my oil caused this. Should be torqued to 18fp.

    I used the same filter wrench as u abd it shattered!!! I'm going to buy another one. Is the unit that twists out made of metal? Could I heat it b4 I put the Rachel on it?

    Do i need to redo my oil change? Should i worry? I just realized i have not done it correctly for the past 3yrs. So i didnt know i was supposed to drain the oil using the plastic tube before i take off the filter. I didn't see your video before doing an oil change.

    • @brotherkossi
      @brotherkossi 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It's fine. Your job would be just messier if you don't drain using that little tube.
      If you remove the filter straight, that oil going to come out, just will be messier.

      @@brotherkossi thank you for the response. Next time I'll try to remember to use the plastic tube so it won't be messy.

    I use the whole bottle, the extra 200ml (cup) wont hurt anything. If you put in a 1 whole Liter or Quart to much, then your in trouble.

      I have one. Bought 3 years ago with 32K miles...now 170K. Drives great. Just change oil and filter every 5K miles or 6 months like The Car Care Nut says to. Oil is cheap...engines aren't. And of course other recommended maintenance. Cheers!

    This is like rocket science compared to my Audi😂 I couldn’t imagine having an oil filter on the bottom of the car. And my oil filter is one complete unit so just unscrew old and throw it away. Take new one out of box and screw it on.
