    This is the first time in British and American media where I’ve actually heard a politician make sense by a ceasefire. And the way he explains what it means and moving forward in this conflict is shocking refreshing.

What he said about the expanded oil farming in the king's speech is also very true.     I'm Scottish, affiliated to no political party. But, I am a supporter of Scottish independence like sooo strongly and I vote accordingly -not that it gets us anywhere-. However, in 2017 and 2019 I voted for Labour. For one reason and one reason only..... JC ❤️

      Same as me I'm Scottish and back independence but I'm also a socialist.
      So voted for Labour in 2017 and 2019 because of Corbyn and Labour's manifesto at the time.
      I will never vote for them again while they are run by this right wing cabal.

      @@enemystand2981 JC may have tried to put it off and tried to realign the UK, but he wouldn't have refused the right to hold the ref with a majority of Scots MPs being in parties which support indy. I'm sure he would have campaigned hardware to keep up. But I highly doubt he would have point blank refuse to discuss it with the first minister, or just fully denied the right and will of a majority of Scots.

    I am proud of the Irish President's long-held views on this, and the Irish Govt's unequivocal and consistent stance, and for decades. Jeremy is correct. Wish people in the UK would put their politics aside for once, and listen to him...and maybe also become aware of the stance their nearest neighbour is taking.
    As to the interviewer's question '...is it possible to criticise Israel and not be anti-semitic" ...of course it is, but the Israeli state has been very very good at clouding this question and keeping the waters muddy. Listen to Noam Chomsky's for more on that.

    "Prescribed terrorist organisation" is not the point. The people are the point, just like they were in Northern Ireland. Nelson Mandella in South Africa was part of a prescribed terrorist organisation. When there is power asymmetry one side gets to 'prescribe' (label) the other. Peace diplomats have to get around the asymmetry and labels and give all people what they need, even if the most powerful side do not recognise what they need. What they all need is of course peace.

    Very good to hear this interview. Jeremy talks in a measured and clear way. He has been involved in the Middle East issues for many years. Far from being an anti semite, he like millions of others , wish to see a peaceful resolution. I was on the peaceful March in London yesterday. It was heartening to see so many people coming together and calling for the ending of genocide, and killings on all sides. We must keep marching to this end. Let your voice be heard!

    I always try to see both sides. And I want to listen to people's concerns about Corbyn. But most times I watch interviews with him l, he comes across as balanced and insightful and fair. If you listen to most of our mainstream media you'd believe he sympathises with Hamas, and he just doesn't. Realising these radical groups happen because of oppression isn't sympathising with them
