Okay, so I have been working on this video ever since the season 14 finale aired a couple of months ago. I've shipped these two ever since I first binge watched the show back around the time season 5 was airing but kind of dropped the show in season 6 after AJ and Paget left for a while. Anyways, after I heard that season 15 will be CM's last, I caught up on the show and then sat in awe and shock when a ship I thought would never even have the possibility of setting sail for canonhood suddenly got a total fanfic of a season finale centered around their relationship!!!! (I'm seriously still not over it).
These two are my favorite characters on the show and I've shipped them from the beginning. I know the fandom is pretty divided on this but I, for one, adored the season 14 finale and cannot wait to see what's in store for these two in season 15...and even if we get nothing, hey, that's what fanfic is for, isn't it? Correcting writing mistakes ;)

I have been in love with Reid since the show started, I was about 10. JJ is the only person I felt was right for him, I know its a bad time for them to start a relationship and it would be so complicated and horrible but I really hope it happens, then i can be somewhat ok with the show ending, this show has been apart of my life for 15 years I don't know how i'm going to cope with the last season. Think about not seeing them anymore breaks my heart. This is the only thing I have ever been a fangirl about and a part of me is judging me sooo hard right now XD
I stg if season 15 doesn’t end up with them getting married and Morgan coming back and being Reid’s best man and hotch walking jj down the aisle I’m suing

its 4am and I'm literally sobbing at this amazing edit. I love them and I love this show. I'm almost done season 15 and I don't know how I will say goodbye. This was such a beautiful edit, bittersweet cause I know that Reid and JJ don't end up together, but regardless of whether or not they are in a romantic relationship, they are soulmates. Twin flames. They don't need a romantic relationship to validate their genuine love for one another. I just wish the writers introduced this relationship many seasons ago, and we could've seen the two develop and grow. Maybe even have kids of their own (the worst crime of the entire show is that Spence doesn't have kids). Instead, the writers had to abruptly introduce a potential relationship at the end of season 14, and then kinda wrap up that whole storyline in like two episodes! Why even give us hope that the relationship was going to happen only to quickly shut down the idea (and then like two seconds later give Spence a new random love interest)? It's just weird cause in every show I've ever watched, the couple I ship always ends up together. This is the first show where I won't get that kind of closure, but I guess there is closure in the fact that Reid and JJ will always truly love each other, which is made very clear through their profound bond. There might not have been any necessarily romantic moments between them, but to me, it's the little moments that have the most cosmic impact on their love story. When JJ confides in Reid that she lost her baby and Reid desperately wants to make that pain go away. When JJ can't bear to see Reid in prison, the raw concern and desperation apparent in her voice when she says "we need to get him out of there." And when she visits him in jail because she promised him that she wouldn't let him be alone, and JJ gave Reid that drawing that her son made, that was like a defining moment in their relationship for me. It was so heartwarming. That little drawing was Spence's reminder of his life outside of a cell, a reminder that he had people to keep fighting for, to keep surviving for. In a place as lonely and isolating as a prison, that little picture honestly saved him, and JJ knew how much it would mean to him. Anytime Spence has been in a dangerous situation, obviously the whole team is relieved when he survives, but it's always the embrace between JJ and Reid that exudes the pure love of two twin flames colliding. And as Prentiss said, "The thing about twin flames is that nothing can keep them apart." Watching their love grow over 15 years is a beautiful thing, thank you for capturing that in your edit. I'm sorry that this is such a long comment but I just needed an outlet to express myself as these characters mean so much to me.

They're growing up. Especially when you saw Spencer haircut in the beginning season and turn into really hot man with great haircut in the 14th season. And JJ as well! Always love her mothering sense. Their chemistry is real! Notice how easy they're doing their relationship.

Im rewatching this 5 months later, and now I know you used Mark´s goodbye line after Lexi died and before he died... thats makes me sad, because they reunited in afterlife but he had to watch Lexi die (she deserved so much better) and lived a month with that pain just to die too... They NEVER got the chance to be happy together, I hope this show do not do that to JJ and Reid!
